This horse seems to have had a cramp in the back leg from the way he kicks out. Its hard on them to stand for so long and then having to stand on a brick area plus in fecal material. Glad someone came and tried to clean that up. His rider did a good job keeping himself and horse calm .

THE MOUNTED KING'S LIFE GUARDS STAND ONE HOUR LONG DUTY AT THE GATES!!
I WAS CONCERNED AT FIRST, TOO!! IF YOU WATCH ANY AND ALL OF THESE MOUNTED KING'S LIFE GUARDS IT'S CLEAR THAT THEY REALLY LOVE AND TAKE GREAT CARE OF THESE HORSES!!
IF A HORSE JUST CAN'T SETTLE DOWN OR IT'S CLEAR THE HORSE ISN'T FEELING WELL, THEY WILL CHANGE THAT HORSE OUT BEFORE THEIR HOUR IS COMPLETELD!!
THESE ARE GREAT HORSES WHO ARE HORSES, FIRST!! THERE ISN'T SOMEONE SCURRYING BEHIND EACH HORSE SCOOPING THE POOP IN THE MEADOWS, STALLS OR ON HORSE TRAILERS THE MINUTE THEY GO!! SO IT'S A HUGE LEAP TO GIVE HORSES THE SAME "FEELINGS" AS SOME PEOPLE ABOUT STANDING IN MOSTLY GRASS MANURE FOR A WHILE!! 😊

They can barely see out from underneath the helmets, and would have that plume flying in their faces. What useful weapons do they have? Or do they simply use the horse as a battering ram? While they are full members of the regiment, including training, when they are sitting on those horses in those uniforms they are performing a ceremonial duty.

Diana, they are on duty 1 hour at a time, and horse's spend most of their time standing, in a field, stable, horse box and they sleep standing up. You very rarely see a horse laying down.

    • @ahy4234
      @ahy4234 6 หลายเดือนก่อน +3

@@ginnyalan I see this differently: horses are running animals. It's not in their nature to stand still when they don't want to or can't sleep. I have seen many horses sleeping completely relaxed in a meadow - when they feel safe. Although this approach is part of English culture, it is not necessarily animal-friendly.

Falsch .

I don't know if there's a bee or wasp problem in London or not - yes, this is ❤edited and there YES THERE are 18 different bee species and they mentioned Ants IN London!! Have you ever been bitten by Fire Ants? Those bites HURT! THE TOXIN THOSE HORRIBLE LITTLE SOB'S DEPOSIT OR IS ABSORBED FROM THEIIR BITES IS EXTREMELY PAINFULL AND YOU'RE NOT GOING TO EVEN SEE BITE UNTIL THE SWELLING AND REDNESS STARTS SPREADING!!! My very Stoic mother got nailed at a park in Upstate NY and within Minutes THE PAIN AND SWELLING FROM THOSE BITES STARTED SPREADING AND THE STINGING GOT MUCH WORSE!! AS A Doctor friend who saw it the next day said "It WAS SO BAD THAT SHE COULD'VE LOST HER LEG BECAUSE OF IT! IT!!
BEFORE YOU ASK - THE STOIC, GERMAN, HARDHEAD REFUSED TO GO TO THE HOSPITAL!! IF THE VERY COLD WATER AND PINK HIMALAYAN SEA SALT HADN'T WORKED, MY YOUNGER BROTHER WAS GOING TO PICK HER UP AND TAKE HER THERE ANYWAY!!
APPARENTLY IT HELPS HAVING A CRITICAL CARE RN FOR A DAUGHTER!! NEVER USE HEAT!! ICE WATER AND PINK HIMALAYAN SEA SALT - WORKED AND TOOK THE RED, KNEE HIGH, HOT, HARD, AND PAINFUL SWELLING DOWN TO ABOUT A RED RAW QUARTER SIZED OPEN HOLE IN HER ANKLE AREA!! DON'T EVER USE HEAT - IF I HAD USED HEST - THE TOXINS WOULD'VE SPREAD MUCH FASTER TO HER HEART, LUNGS AND BRAIN!!
I SERIOUSLY WONDER IF THAT KING'S LIFE GUARD'S HORSE HAD BEEN STUNG!! THOSE STINGS WOULDN'T HAVE BEEN VISIBLE ON HORSES UNTIL THE SWELLING EDEMA HAD SPREAD!!
THANK GOD AND THE QUICK RESPONSE BY ALL WHO TRIED TO SEE WHAT WAS GOING ON WITH THAT HORSE!! This abrupt change in the Horse truly makes me wonder! I have seen different animals - horses, dogs, cats and yes, people have that abrupt change in personality and demeanor when stung or bitten, especially if it's under something like the saddle pad or clothing!! I hope he's ok!!
And just a quick comment about those trying to give Horse's even The King's Life Guards Horse's don't have someone "Scooping the Poop" everytime it happens in a pasture, in public, arena, stall or box!! I hope that reasoning Stops here - SMH!! LOL!! IT'S JUST TOO LUDICROUS!! LOL!!😅😂❤🐴🇬🇧🐎❤😅😂

Please people, horses don’t generally GIVE a shit, about standing in shit. HUMANS give a shit about them standing in shit because HUMANS then have to clean out their feet lol(oh and clean their white points if they have them). The only reason most horses care less about horse shit is that it can be slippy. They’re only up there for an hour after all. This horse looks to me like he got bitten or maybe got a spiderweb tangled on his hind leg.(some horses HATE spider webs) He’s kicking out like there’s something on him, not like he’s in pain. If he was in pain he’d be holding the foot up, but he’s not, he’s standing and walking on it just fine. It’s just irritated. He might have a tummy upset too, but generally in those cases they kick closer in, rather than out like he’s trying to get something off as he’s doing, but a mild colic is also possible. Actually I’m watching this repeatedly to see exactly what he’s doing and the more I see, the more I’m tending towards a mild colic. Fact is tho, it’s pretty much impossible to say without actually looking at him and going over all his limbs and listening to his belly.

This poor horse was in pain. He kept kicking his back right leg up and out. Something could have been stuck in his shoe, or his hip was hurting. He needed to go back to the barn and have the veterinarian check him out. I prescribe a day off and a Vet check.

Tourists shouldn't be allowed to touch and pet the horses AT ALL. Isn't it enough to have their picture taken close to the horses? While the police and guards were trying to calm the horse down I was listening to people speaking loudly in different languages; some wouldn't stop the yada yada yada. All that talking, laughing, kids crying may contribute to get the horses nervous. What is worse, most idiots don't have common sense and stand behind the or of control horse!! That horse was polite and letting them know he was ready to kick their butts; however, people chose to ignore the signals.
