2x2s are underestimated. I solved a bunch but I don't know how, and that's so very frustrating.

Moral of the short story is, don’t underestimate the cube. You will regret it.
You forgot the part where they scramble the cube for 2 minutes so it will be “harder” and tell you to look away so you won’t memorize how they scrambled it
I am a cuber, started cubing when i was a third grader, my friend told me that he is very good at scrambling, that no one beat his scramble. he was an idiot anyways, didn’t complain anything though i was laughing in my mind.

It's impossible to memorize ..
I solved a 3x3 in front of my uncle one time and he said “bro you just memorized how you scrambled it.” And I looked him dead in the eye and replied “Yeah, I’m def a cheater, you scramble it.” He then proceeded to give me about 6 warnings about how it wouldn’t be solved anymore before finally doing it while I literally walked away so I “couldn’t cheat”. Solved it again, then put it in a fancy pattern.

Just realised 2x2 every piece is a corner piece so u can twist every piece
I once saw a friend solving a mirror cube (he was big on rubik’s cubes and had a different one in class pretty much every day) in class and he looked really confused and me and one of our other friends was jokingly making fun of him cuz it looked like he didn’t know what he was doing. But unfortunately we had to take it all back when I looked over at the end of class and he had solved it.

Fun fact: getting kicked in the balls is one of the worst pains you can experience in your life...

I'd like to take a moment to point out that you didnt actually have the mirror cube solved. It's the same thing that always gets me, because of the lines printed onto the cube, center orientation matters, you had some of the centers facing the wrong direction.

As a non-cuber that wants to find my 3X3 (it's somewhere in my damn house) and become a cuber, I can relate.

Dude... I have fucking experienced that shit and I am telling you next time someone touches my 6x6 or 7x7 and decides to absolutely blow it up I don't care where I or the other guy has to be for the rest of the day. He is putting it back together no matter how damn long it takes.

I’m not a speed cuber, so a 3x3 solve is about a minute to a minute and a half, a megaminx is roughly 5-6 minutes. I don’t think that takes that long to solve
