Meet Painted Bunting, The Most Colorful Bird Native To The United States.
Birds are one of nature's most exquisite creations. I saw one yesterday at my feeder here in eastern NC. It was the first time I'd ever seen one, never even heard of them before. I thought somebody's parrot had escaped lol. They're so beautiful, I hope he comes back!

They are vacationing in South Florida during the winter and spring. I purchased a caged feeder to keep out the grackles and blue jays. It’s filled only with white millet. I have seen three painted buntings at a time.
