We teamed up with the worldwide beatboxing community to celebrate the 20th anniversary of Beatbox Battle Networks. This festival was all about connecting with old and new friends. We set the focus for this event on individual cultural music styles to bring back the harmonic community vibe after the Covid-19 pandemic. You can tell Napom was about to lose it when he said shut up to Azel in his beat cause you can just see Azel talking and then laughs when Napom says shut up. How disrespectful of Azel. First off like everyone is saying the man is way to dang close to Napom like bruh give the man his space. And the constant talking in Napom second round that leads up to him saying shut up in his beat.

This is why Azel acted like this during 2nd round. I know you can do the same for Azel, but I'm not an Azel or a Napom fan so I saw it. Btw, at this level, there's no such things as "better beatboxer". In fact, if Napom didn't tried to counter him by doing dubstep, he could have won this easily 5-0.

Azel unfortunately fails to battle intense and just comes off as toxic. Theres some good examples of how to be aggresive like PACMax, NaPoM, Alexinho, and others. But Azel just feels toxic. Besides this, great fuckin battle, Azel's first round was incredible

Literally stepping into one's face, almost kissing them just to desperately break their concentration is a jackass move no matter how you spin it. It may not be an illegal move, but it's just such a bad look, that it defeats the whole purpose of a battle. Why not just fucking stare each other down and make it a staring contest? I understand you're an azel fan boy, you probably got Azel bed sheets and a body pillow so you feel you simply must defend your king, your chupapi munyano, but as someone who just wants to enjoy beatbox battles this isn't even fun to watch anymore. If you want to show your extreme stage confidence without actually looking like you want to fuck your opponent in the ass, just look at d-low. A perfect example of a confident beatboxer that uses psychological warfare the right way.

this was a beatbox battle and they battled… not sure what all the complaints are about.
Yeah I see this side of it but its the energy that Napon and Azel both release whenever battling most of the time. Both beatboxers don't remain very respectful towards the love of the art and sport. Whereas in my opinion you watch a battle like Codfish and Dlow or something along those lines where its just love and still good battling, that is just much more fun to watch and sends a better message of what beatbox community is all about.

1. There's no such things as "better beatboxer" in worlds championships, especially in quarterfinals, it's just who does his rounds better. 2. It's a battle, and I think its great to have this aggressive style both with and without the mic, maybe not as aggressive but it really add something to the battles. Both did it, and I think talking to the other guy during a battle or getting physical shouldnt be allowed but getting really close should be allowed (and judged ofc, if someone isnt affected by it it's a big +). 3. If you think "Azel ruined it because of his behaviour" then they both ruined it, as Napom did exactly the same as Azel did. He even talked to him during both rounds, said "where's the musicality" in the first round then does exactly the same (kinda stupid but anyway), and tried to show that he can do better than Azel on his Dubstep style (which he clearly didn't managed to do) but he showed more diversity, more techniques and answered better in terms of "battle context", which is why he won and it's totally fair. 4. Napom's fans please don't cry in the comments, it's a bit annoying for everyone, 95% of you don't even understand beatbox at all, you just like lip rolls and fast beatboxing. If you wanna get better at beatbox knowledge, go watch "demuth - azel" on BBI channel and get amazed by "this pizza guy"
