- Lentils are an original and traditional dish of our Iranians, which in addition to being delicious, has many properties. This dish is cooked in different ways, one of which is cooking lentils with pumpkin.
Walnut lentils with pumpkin is a special and different dish that is usually cooked in autumn and winter
This dish is one of the most delicious vegetarian dishes of us Iranians, which has many fans and also has a very high nutritional value.
ingredients:
lentils
an onion
walnut
pumpkin
tomato paste
How to prepare:
wash the lentils; Boil with some spices and water;
Add chopped pumpkin, grated walnuts and fried onions to it; Put the potato, chopped or coarse, of your choice, and after boiling and settling for a while, serve it.
Cooking celery stew with lamb and onion salad!

I used to live in a small village near Sanandaj during my two years military service as a medic in early 1970's.
I have many fund memories of my time there, watching your videos brings back beautiful memories. watching your Channel, I can feel the clean cool air, hear the wind blowing amongs the tree branches and almost taste the organic fruits and vegatable you use in your cooking. I Live in California for the past 50 years but I feel extremely lucky to have experienced living in Sanandaj which is very much like your area. Que historia tan bonita, de una familia Ireaní de campo, con su cultura, sus valores y la gran variedad de su arte culinario que inspira, los ingredientes de su comida se parece a lo que tenemos en nuestro México, que bueno que nos comparten este tipo de videos de Iran, por lo general nos llegan noticias de ese país difíciles, de ahí el valor de sus videos.
También observo que las muchachas y su madre, nunca ven directo a la cámara, para nosotros nos es extraño ver mujeres vestidas con ropa de color, por lo general las mujeres de Iran las presentan vestidas de negro y tapadas la vabeza y su cara, que belleza de esa familia, sugiero mostrarnos su cara o ver directo a la cámara, y sería bueno escucharlas hablar un poco mas. felicidades por tan bonito testimonio de una familia rural de Iran.
