I love how many wide angle shots there are in this video where you see the back run around the defenders and take off, and you think it's Bradshaw, until you see #27, or you see the back slam into a defender and plow him over or knock him back and bulldoze through and you assume it's Jacobs, but it was Bradshaw. They both had amazing speed and power and agility, could turn screens into big gains, make the occasional catch downfield and were solid pass blockers. And the camaraderie on display whenever they would celebrate together a touchdown by one of them was one of the best parts of watching those Giants teams.
Shout out to John Smith for putting this video out. Good shit man!! If you’re not a Giant fan don’t watch. I’m sure it was hard enough thinking about those days we dominated in the NFC east. I just punched my steering wheel so hard, I thought the air bag was definitely hitting me in the face. I got so excited. Yeah, those are the NY Giants man... and if Burress didn’t shoot him self in the foot, we win back to back Superbowls being 11-1 at the time and another in 2011 under Tom Coughlin. Eli in his prime!!! Great video..... thanks !!!
Loved this video! Miss those two tearing it up. They really complemented each other. They had great vision, real power and lots of heart! Thanks for posting this.
The most important element of this duo is on display 5 seconds in - these guys were best friends. Coaches will typically pit RB's against each other to draw the best out of them, but 44 and 27 were unique. They consistently rooted for each other despite their competitive nature. It wasn't unusual to see the guy on the sideline more excited about the play than the guy on the field. Great chemistry. Hope we get to see that again soon.
"Brandon Jacobs wasn't that great of a power back." **trucks Brian Urlacher like it's nothing** "Oh, I see." His speed is pretty insane too. One of the best one-two punches I've ever seen. That '07 game against the Bills was so fun to watch.
I missed two of them who brought up to superbowl from wildcard. They had been great for NY Giants until this time is different than before. Brandon and Ahmad were great running back of NY Giants!
I was at that game vs Baltimore and that Bradshaw run made the place erupt. We ran all over them that day. Could have been a special season but plax had to cap himself. Beat all four final four teams in the regular season. Had a real shot at back to back. People forget how good those Giants were. I’ll hear they were 10-6 and how did they beat the pats. After an 0-2 start in 2007 they went 24-5 I believe until plax shot himself
If you know giants football this comment is underrated. We need this energy back, Bradshaw was in and out of jail while running ppl over lol. Ruthless football hard nose runners.
Love the fact that the high school Bradshaw went to is one of our rival football teams. Every time we play I just think about how he came from such a small school to the pros.
If he had stayed healthy, A. Bradshaw could have been the best Giant tailback ever in my opinion. Too bad Jacobs wasn't a better blocker (or he'd been a full back). They were some duo!!
I miss this combo so much.
So much fun to watch when they played.
No one played with more heart than Ahmad Bradshaw #44
Imagine having this talent in your backfield and not replenishing your line for a decade.
Great highlights 🏈🏈
Brandon Jacobs was 6ft 4in and 270lbs the guy was a monster
Built like a TE
and he ran a 4.5 xD
Also had Derrick ward as third back
He was not 270 😂😂😂😂😂
@@blokkstarphillips4807265. I’m sure they’re were games where he weighed at 270. Besides in the offseason he was probably damn 285 😂😂
Don't forget about Derrick ward!!! Earth, wind and fire trio!!!!!!
Brought a tear to my eye. I miss these Giants!

I miss both of these guys.... This was our 1,2 punch at the running back position....

Big Brandon Jacob's " The Tip Toe Burglar" and Ahmad "The Beast" Bradshaw Thunder and Lightning!!! One of the greatest backfields EVER!!!!
Brandon Jacobs was my favorite player as kid
Now he’s trying to come back as a defensive end…. Seriously
Boy do I miss this Giants team! Jeremy Shockey, Plaxico, Strahan, Umenyioura, Toomer.....COME BACK!
Man, it couldn't have been a good feeling seeing either one of those guys break through the line as a DB and have them one on one.
Best rb duo in the last 10 years
naahh
even my falcons freeman nd Coleman was better den them
@@eligotdajuice no rings 4 them ....Jacob's n Bradshaw got 2 each
@@ybsbceo yeah you right
@@eligotdajuice boy stop
😭 That was beautiful 😭
2 of my favorite Giants
I missed them since two superbowls. They were great for Gmen as RB duo.
God I miss these guys/this team. Glory days for sure.
Loved this video! Miss those two tearing it up. They really complemented each other. They had great vision, real power and lots of heart! Thanks for posting this.
Glory Days indeed!!!
Go Big Blue👍🏽💪🏾

Damn I miss them running backs 😪
Thank you
Glory days is right…we’ll be back here
Brandon Jacobs was a monster. Eagles fan, but he was fun to watch.
I loved watching him run. I am a Cowboy's fan and he destroyed us one game. No one could tackle him.
I remember seeing Jacobs give a defender a chip block. His world was rocked and was a little woozy afterwards.
Legendary duo
That’s was great .. goosebumps
I love Bradshaw's jumping spike celebration
Notice at 2:01 Jacobs hits time clock and Bruce says hoo.
Back when Giant Football was Giant Football! I miss it, but in time it will come back.
Even though the giants have Saquon I will forever miss these two.
I wish we had both of them on the team now.....
We need 2 guys like this again. This was so awesome to watch every Sunday. My guys
damn...good memories...
Yup
I miss these guys...and also the LINE that blocked for them!!!
They were the BEST together. It was “Earth, Wind and Fire” back in the day! Thanks for the memories!
My favorite combo. They got me into football
"Brandon Jacobs wasn't that great of a power back." **trucks Brian Urlacher like it's nothing** "Oh, I see."
His speed is pretty insane too. One of the best one-two punches I've ever seen. That '07 game against the Bills was so fun to watch.
That O line was awesome
Ground and Pound. One of the greatest running back dual of all time
As an Eagles fan I actually enjoyed watching these two play football 😂😂😂.
Good memory of both of these running back! I missed them playing as they are gone this time.
these guys embodied who the giants were. not the best, but talented and very physical. very very physical
They were a Super Bowl Winning Force. Love these guys, (and the tough ass guys that blocked for them) forever and ever.
Man, these two were fun to watch. Thanks for posting.
Happy these 2 got rings!
Well done brother . Awesome video , thanks !
Can't believe Brandon Jacobs was picked on the 4th round. He should be top 5 pick. 6'4", 265 lbs 747.
Who wants to tackle Jacobs . . .it was silent ! A monster and the speed he had was unreal ! miss ya Jacobs !
I don't care what anyone says about Jacobs when he was in the game he was a force that made a difference.
THUNDER AND LIGHTNING!!!
Miss these days as a young lad BLEED BLUE
As soon as they get Saquon a complimentary RB we'll see some bruising Giants football games like these again. Glory Days indeed!!!
I missed two of them who brought up to superbowl from wildcard. They had been great for NY Giants until this time is different than before. Brandon and Ahmad were great running back of NY Giants!
Legends
I miss this man
These truly were the Glory Days
Those Two Was The Best 1, 2 Punch In Giants History As Far As The Running Game Goes
Brandon Jacobs - 6'4" , 264 lbs
Von Miller - 6'3" , 254 lbs
holy shit was Jacobs big
He looked fucking big Jesus
Ugh, I miss these guys. A 4th rounder and a 7th rounder put in major work for the Giants. Love them both.
The good ole days
I was at that game vs Baltimore and that Bradshaw run made the place erupt. We ran all over them that day. Could have been a special season but plax had to cap himself. Loved when these two were on the team, with a kick ass o-line.
Giants are so boring without these two. Just doesn't feel the same
mike richards What about Odell Beckham Jr? I wouldn't call him boring. He's a great receiver and most of his plays turn out to be highlight reels
That was bad ass
One of the best duos to ever do it
i remember using this guy in madden 10 wrecking everyone
If he had stayed healthy, A. Bradshaw could have been the best Giant tailback ever in my opinion. Too bad Jacobs wasn't a better blocker (or he'd been a full back). They were some duo!!
Great video! Miss these guys SO much
I love the New York Giants
These 2 really started the successful dual RBs...great years as a NYG fan
1:53 - Best part and it's right in the middle of the song. I was just waiting for that run to appear. Perfect.
Back here... We need this again.... Get back to ground and pound .. 2 back system.
The definition of running back by committee. GO BIG BLUE!
I REMEMBER THESE DAYS 😍
Huge skins fan here but i loved watching Jacobs and bradshaw play.
The only thing missing from power offense like this is Summerall and Madden on the call.
Heard the music and turned it off. Why can't we just hear the calls with NO music?
10 years ago the Giants were winning super bowls. It was done through great drafting. Now..........🙁
My 2 favorite giants RBs. Miss these dudes.
I miss these guys!!!
Truely was the glory days. Hell of a 1-2 punch! Damn I miss hard nose Giants football or hard nose football period for that matter.
Thunder and Lightning
Jacobs was a true runner
this is when they had the awesome team now Cruz is out and when they were good I'm a giants fan myself ,go big blue
I miss these days. The giants need another power back to punish defenders. But I guess its hard to find a 6'4 260 rb who runs a sub 4.4 40 yd dash.
Bradshaw is still my favorite RB. And I forgot that Jacobs had such wheels!
John Smith is the name I would come up with when asked who would pick such a song for a highlight video.
AWESOME video of when the Giants had a killer running game!!
Bradshaw steamrolling brodney Poole is the best hit on here
