Excellent Album to Close this Year charged with amazing releases! I been collecting black metal since early 2000s and i can say that most of the best albums in history have been released since 2020. Probably is going to be the best decade for black metal but not better than the 90s of course 🤘🏻
Yeah the 2020's are a new renaissance of metal like the 1980s. Most of my top 10-15 records came out in the last 5 years or so. My top 5 records this year were all bands I had never even heard of until 2023. Best of 2023: 1. Marthyrium. 2. Asphagor. 3. Irityll. 4. Manbryne. 5. Aodon.
