I may not like “Fast & Furious” as a franchise, but a spinner coaster is an upgrade from that party bus. The glowing reception Cosmic Rewind received at EPCOT, makes it pretty obvious that Universal would want an Orlando counterpart to their Hollywood Drift. Plus, a spinner would differentiate this coaster from Hagrid’s and the Velocicoaster. Though, I suspect the Hollywood Drift will be superior to the rumored Orlando Drift. Just due to it being built on a hillside, which adds something interesting to the layout.
Anything is better than Rough Ride Rocket. That thing is a headache factory. The Bad Guys, Twister, and Sing could work as themes in that area of the park if they dont go with Fast & Furious. I hope Universal does more than swap one coaster out for another. The Orlando Studios park doesn't seem like it has enough to do. A land expansion would be better.
Oooooh! I like the idea of the TWISTER coaster....I see a spinning coaster with dark ride elements!💜
Sharknado 3? 😂
I'm sorry but any launch coaster is worse than Hollywood RRR, the USO resort already has more than enough launch coasters, they need something big with a lift hill to replace the ONLY big coaster in the resort without a launch. The only, and I mean ONLY exception would be something like F.L.Y. at Phantasialand in Germany, a flying multi-launch coaster by Vekmoma with a very different loading and unloading system.
The USO Resort needs to stop adding launch coasters, they have enough already, in fact I feel that Stardust Racers are bad because they're just diet VeolciCoaster when they could have been dueling mini-hypers, hell it could have used the same track and train type as the company that built that mistake have a hyper model that uses the same trains and track but uses a lift hill.
@@AceAviations2lift hill propaganda
@@AceAviations2 I don't care if the new coaster is launched, cable lift, elevator lift, or chain lift -- anything smooth and fun beats the discomfort that is RRR. All I want is the coaster to not be a clone of something on the west coast.
I actually do hope the Fast & Furious theme the HRRR replacement. A coaster fits that brand better. - Then they’ll have more options to close the current embarrassing F&F ride.
*Id love for them to use that space to harken back to the original theme of USO, like a modern take on the Disaster! Ride experience, or something similar that goes into movie making secrets & BTS stuff.
Then the cue could be a walking homage to cinema & entertainment throughout the decades.
This is the only coaster in all Orlando theme parks that I haven't been on
Out with the rough in with the smooth. Live in Florida and understand why people like this coaster. However, Intamin makes the best coasters in the world. A new Intamin coaster at Universal is just what the park needs. They obviously won't be doing a clone of the Hollywood coaster. But I can see them closing the horrible fast and furious ride. Using that building as the station. Then taking the coaster from the fast and furious ride down to the horrible Jimmy Falon ride. Don't think they will build in the same footprint. Use the same drift coaster as Hollywood with its own custom layout.
Honestly, I don’t know another manufacturer besides Vekoma who is being bold and experimental with results like intamin. Between the drifting coaster, the vertical launch coaster design, the fast switch tracks, etc. intamin is coming back with a vengeance with better reliability than the old days (I think hagrids issues came from corporate not wanting to iron out the kinks so they can open on a specific date)
@@HollywoodandWine101 - Considering many of the problems with Hagrid’s are due to corporate, what makes you think they are not going to botch this up too?
Eh, another multi-launch coaster is a bad choice that would only take away from the USO's resort's lineup considering that Hollywood RRR is the *only large coaster in the USO resort without a launch,* so by default a launch coaster is a terrible choice. Something like Farenheight at Hersheypark would be a way better choice, plus Farenheight has a double chain that allows them to lower the train back down to make evacuating the ride easier.
The USO Resort has a serious problem with an oversaturation of launch coasters, something that Epic Universe will only make worse (which is why I have zero hype for Epic Universe), so taking out the park's last big coaster with a lift hill for yet-another multi-launch coaster would be one of the most incompetent decisions that would make the Splash Mountain conversions look like great ideas, *they weren't BTW,* but that's how bad this would be.
The USO Resort is a big reason why I'm legitimately getting fed up with launch coasters being added to some parks, I get that there's more to the place than just roller coasters, but can you maybe not be so stale with your choices.
I love rip ride 😂😂
Make the fast and furious coaster cars muscle cars that have the sound and feel, rumbling and roaring engine sound! Would be epic
I bet if its Orlando drift it be bigger then rip ride rockit.
Maybe 4 tracks under the horror nights line instead of 2
Maybe have it be ghostbusters and instead of a drifting car, the trains could be ecto-1’s
While I do think it will be fast and the furious
If the theming is different I can’t put my hand of what it should be.
Ghostbusters? Be in the ecto-1 swerving through NYC
@ how would that work though
At least if a new coaster is added ... it will not be a clone from Hollywood
Cheetah Chase at Busch Gardens is the best.
Rip Ride opened in 2009
