Wow! I stress out about paying $15 for mystery box pins. I could pay for a nice disney vacation with the price of some of those pins. Guess I'm not a hardcore collector😀! Thanks for the great video.
Wow, this was fascinating!! I was most surprised by the Up! marquee, wowza. And holy moly, the Alice pin! thanks for digging this up, Emily, sooooo interesting!!
Was worried I'd see my grail on this list and....yup, there's Meg! (I think she's so highly sought after because there's not a lot of pins with her, and this is by far the nicest one of her, too - not a lot of great Meg pins out there of the ones that do exist.) Still can't believe anyone would spend $700+ on a pin though! Also agree with you about the profile saturation - fantasy creators are just pumping them out, lol
$2500 for a pin? You could buy a used car for that! Clearly these are the 1%. The people who go to WDW during the expensive peak season. They either have a house at the Golden Oaks neighborhood, or stay at one of those suites at the Grand Floridian. They take a cab to every park/destination. They pay for the VIP guides, the cabanas, dinner at Club 55, while waiting for their membership for that location to be renewed.
Hi Emily. I am truly shocked at how much some of these pins have sold for. I do understand a real collector is willing to pay no matter what. Myself personally, would rather spend that on a multiple day trip to Disney instead of a pin. But I do get it. 😀
Very interesting video! It sucks how people sell pins so expensive when retail price is not even close to that but clearly there are people out there that will buy them anyways!!!
I don't understand why Disney allows this. They don't see that money. They sell a pin for $10-30, have people camp out and/or pay admission for the privilege of possibly buying these pins at retail, and then still risk not being able to buy them because they sold out. And most of those people are resellers anyway. I could understand cast members trying to supplement their income buy buying/selling exclusives, but still. And cast member exclusives are a perk of employee net, but everything else? Disney should make more of these as open editions. Instead of LE of 300-1000, make them LE of 5000+
wow! I have the black and white mickey pin and the Hercules one. I have had a collection for a very long time but haven’t gone through it in a long time either, I had no idea they could go for this much!
Yay, I have one of these pins!!! I had no idea it could sell for so much. I paid a fair bit for it a year ago, but nothing in comparison to what it's worth now!!! I'm shocked. Genuinely shocked!!!
This was such an interesting video!! I love it!! Whew, I don’t think I’ll ever get to a point where I’d pay this much for a pin. But some of these pins are really gorgeous.
I’ve always looked for the WDI Scar profile but... 700+ is beyond insane for a pin Edit: Also... love how you air quoted “Live Action” because.. yea. Most definitely not live action😂❤️
It's funny how you mentioned the initial price you got the WDI profiles at. When looking at pre-sales or initial sales for them now, they usually start at $100 and just go up from there
This is so amazing! My favorite was the Steamboat Willie and the Up Marquee. I am not saving up for either of these, just to clarify! 🤣😂. Thank you for all of your time and work in this cool episode! 💕
You mentioned the website WatchCount. You said that it will tell you the actual amount that was accepted for best offer but I'm not finding that to be true. I looked up an item on ebay and then went to that site and did a search. Both amounts showing are the same. How do you search on the site to find out what the Best Offer amount that was actually accepted was? Maybe I am doing something wrong? Thanks and another great video!!
The Employee Center's princess Disney pins are getting really expensive! A group will go up to $2,500. The new set coming out (Little Mermaid, Tangled, etc...). Some are selling $1000.00 each.
I’m so glad I found your channel!! I have been collecting since the Year of a Million Dreams in 2006! It’s so fun! :D I got a free land yard and the two pins
It’s interesting to see this video one year later during quarantine when everyone has nothing to do but buy pins. The profiles are more expensive now I think 😱. Would be interesting to see a follow up video about pin values during covid times.
I love your videos!! I am a pin collector to I mainly collect goofy, monsters inc and university and he lion king. Do you have any tips on someone that is kind of just starting!! It is so cool how many pins you have!
Oh my goodness! As amazing as some of these are I could never drop that kind of money on a pin. 😱😱. That is crazyyy! I really like all the WDI profiles though.
I’m kinda shook on how much you can spend with the pin collection hahahahaha but I also think it’s nice bc before getting to know the type of pins and their values I would never know things like that!
I'm not sure that I like those profile pins or that Alice pin because they are just circles... I like pins with more detail.....I collect Alice but that pin has never been on my grail list lol
Gina Perez A WDI Pin can only be purchased by cast members at an exclusive pin store or on eBay. I’m not sure how much they go for in the store and how they compare to the pins guests can buy but I suppose it’s around the same?
Gina Perez Yes they are and so are the Soda Fountain pins! I really like the cameo pins too but I’ll never own one in my life but if I could buy one I’d get the Meg pin lol
Great researched video! 😊 I kinda hate myself for having belle and punzie as my favorites/pin collections 😂 but it is what it is 😁 But I really really really can’t understand how people pay those prices. I‘m all for supporting all hobbies and stuff, but these prices could afford a very nice vacation, and people spend it on „metal and color“? I dont get it 🙇🏼♀️🙈
Wow! I stress out about paying $15 for mystery box pins. I could pay for a nice disney vacation with the price of some of those pins. Guess I'm not a hardcore collector😀! Thanks for the great video.
That Alice pin was almost the cost of my tuition for a year... great video and I can see all the research and effort you put in it.
I love pin trading, but I can't imagine trading my rent money for a pin
Wow, this was fascinating!!
I was most surprised by the Up! marquee, wowza. And holy moly, the Alice pin! thanks for digging this up, Emily, sooooo interesting!!

Totally agree! Meg is one of my faves and she's so rare to find that this one is extra special!
I think it's the same with Vanellope too. Not a lot of pins of her or Wreck It Ralph, so it drives the price up.

Wow... that is crazy. I can't imagine spending so much.
Your channel has grown so much ♥️ That is awesome! You are amazing. 👍

every single one of these pins are so beautiful! i was so excited to see Ariel's profile at number 2 as she's my favourite :) x
Yay, I have one of these pins!!! I had no idea it could sell for so much. I paid a fair bit for it a year ago, but nothing in comparison to what it's worth now!!! I'm shocked. Genuinely shocked!!!
Great video idea Emily! $700+ for a pin, wow! 😲 That Rapunzel profile pin is AMAZING, I love Pascal on this pin. Thanks for sharing! 😄
Wow, lots of Disney pins are expensive!! I love Disney pins, there so cute😊👍🏻
This was such an interesting video!! I love it!! Whew, I don’t think I’ll ever get to a point where I’d pay this much for a pin. But some of these pins are really gorgeous.
That Maleficent profile is so pretty!
Wow I can’t even imagine spending that much on one pin. Liked seeing which ones are the top sellers. Maybe one day I’ll have a beloved tales 😂
Such a fun video!! I never knew they could be so crazy expensive!
That was a great showcase Emily! Love that LK Profile, so expensive. I really wish Disney's quality was a good as their Auction pins.
Interesting video, thanks for sharing!
Great video!!! That pin of The Lion King has been my biggest grail & I just got my hands on it. :) I own 8 from this list. Thank you for sharing!!
I’ve always looked for the WDI Scar profile but... 700+ is beyond insane for a pin
Edit: Also... love how you air quoted “Live Action” because.. yea. Most definitely not live action😂❤️
Found Funko pops last year and found about Disney Pins 3 days ago! Collecting is one hell of a drug! Cheers to everyone and stay safe during Covid!
It's funny how you mentioned the initial price you got the WDI profiles at. When looking at pre-sales or initial sales for them now, they usually start at $100 and just go up from there
Love your channel🥰 watching your videos is always a great way to start my day 💖
Wow...seriously? Vanellope and Meg? That's kind of insane! I would never have guessed that either of those would be on a $700+ pin.
This was very interesting. Thank you for doing such an informative video. These are only a dream for me.
This is so amazing! My favorite was the Steamboat Willie and the Up Marquee. I am not saving up for either of these, just to clarify! 🤣😂. Thank you for all of your time and work in this cool episode! 💕

That was so interesting! It’s crazy to think anyone would pay those prices for a pin! I am still on the fence as to whether I should collect at all...
The Employee Center's princess Disney pins are getting really expensive! A group will go up to $2,500. The new set coming out (Little Mermaid, Tangled, etc...). Some are selling $1000.00 each.

Holy kamoly! Crazy crazy crazy!

Love this video!!!
How do you know what how to price your pins ?
Oh my goodness! As amazing as some of these are I could never drop that kind of money on a pin. 😱😱. That is crazyyy! I really like all the WDI profiles though.
Utley Family Adventures yes!! 😱😱
I'm new to pin trading, where are pin auction pins sold?
*Takes pin to the school*
Me - *lose it*
☺😊
I collect pins but i dont have any Disney ones. If I ever go to one of the Disney parks, I will look forward to trading pins there.
I’m kinda shook on how much you can spend with the pin collection hahahahaha but I also think it’s nice bc before getting to know the type of pins and their values I would never know things like that!
Yikes! Yep, those are too much for me! But interesting to see! I wonder if they’ll keep their value, too.
My most expensive pin is my alice profile. It cost less than the megera. Disney pin collectors are hard core!
I want your ears how can I buy some?
I love collecting Wdi and DSF stuff but most of those expensive profiles and da are at a discount price of what the price of them are
I'm not sure that I like those profile pins or that Alice pin because they are just circles... I like pins with more detail.....I collect Alice but that pin has never been on my grail list lol
Dang none of my pins got up here mine usually dont go over 150 and none of my cast exclusives too nice video !!
Great idea for a video !
So interesting!!!!
I’ve always wanted one of the profile pins! My grail is probably Tiana but I don’t think I’ll ever have that money to spend on a pin 😂😭
What do the abbreviations mean?
I have a Thor locket style pin and its out of 1,000 so im really lucky
I came from the sassy Cinderella page. I came to give you 🍩. Plz give 🍩 back. Wow these are some crazy expensive pins.
How can you obtain a WDI pin? And how much is the regular price? Thanks for doing video 😊
Gina Perez A WDI Pin can only be purchased by cast members at an exclusive pin store or on eBay. I’m not sure how much they go for in the store and how they compare to the pins guests can buy but I suppose it’s around the same?
SailorMoonLover2992 Thank you! They are quite the profit maker
Gina Perez Yes they are and so are the Soda Fountain pins! I really like the cameo pins too but I’ll never own one in my life but if I could buy one I’d get the Meg pin lol
SailorMoonLover2992 I went all the way to Hollywood they were out of toys go tot pin and now PTD I was so disappointed
Great researched video! 😊 I kinda hate myself for having belle and punzie as my favorites/pin collections 😂 but it is what it is 😁
But I really really really can’t understand how people pay those prices. I‘m all for supporting all hobbies and stuff, but these prices could afford a very nice vacation, and people spend it on „metal and color“? I dont get it 🙇🏼♀️🙈
I HAD the steamboat micky one :(
Dam, you missed out on one of the most expensive pin. The Goofy astronaut with a space helm/green glowing rock
Welp. I had a $10 pin in my eBay cart debating on whether I should spend the $10 and after watching this yeah... I bought it.
This video justified your decision to realize 10 bucks is better than $800+ 😁
@@milirodriguez8493 Indeed! Pin purchased!
I have over a thousand of them.
Omg I think I have the one at 9:20!!!!!!
I was the fifth like!!!!!!!
😃✌️🤘😆
I love watching your videos
I try to stay around $100 for my LE's.
OMG I COLLECT PINS TOO
Contemplating the shape of Meg's head looking at that pin is... weird
Omg I thought the pin pig ( 91$) was too expensive
700/and five/dollars/was 🥰
Who would pay $2500 for a pin? A pin?!
I'm sure glad I don't collect any of those pins, being a completest would be an expensive business! 😕
When you realize you have one of the pins in this video :0
😍😍😍
Why are they so much?
These people are being ripped off, as I have seen some of these for much cheaper, you just need to know where to look
Who in the world is going to buy them?! Seriously, is just ridiculous
