Yes keep using the retinol.. when first using retinol our skin goes through a purging stage which is temporary, overtime you’ll notice you’re not breaking out anymore and the texture of your skin is improving

I was about to say the same thing. In the beginning of retinol use, breakouts are coming to the surface; that’s good because you know it’s working. It’s definitely worth sticking with.

Hey I’ve used retinol in the past and I have very clear skin and it was the one by la roche posay and it broke my clear skin out a week of using it. Then just last week I tried my friends retinol and I now have one pimple of my forehead. I don’t recommend it only vitamin c and e serums

Not all retinol is created equal, and while there sometimes is an initial purging period, it could also be an added ingredient in the retinol that your skin is reacting to. I personally reacted badly to retinol. I use pure tretinoin and it is the best thing i did
