Sir, Kadaknath is not Indore’s delicacy. It’s actually from a very small district Jhabua which is 150 kms away from Indore. I belong to Jhabua hence I wanted to highlight this. Jhabua is a small place so not many people are aware of. But you will get actual taste in that small district only, their you will actually have real tribal flavour of the dish

It's kind of authentic and niche to Malwa and Nimaad and only a local who is living in Indore for generations could guide you about it. Even many Indoris who newly immigrated to Indore won't know it. Congrats to you on that. Sir, you did a great thing to ask a local and traditionally informed family to guide you about the non-Veg food in Indore, bcoz as you know a very small population in Indore consumes Non-Veg food. Slight correction here though, It's called "KadakNaad" and not KadakNath, it means the rooster that makes a distinctly Kadak naad ( नाद = sound), it's a rare rooster/chicken from mainly Nimaad and also Malwa region of MP famous for its taste and served as the dish of honor to really special guests. I would appreciate it if you can correct this in the title. Also, the Malwi variant of Baati that is been boiled before baking, is called "Baflaa" and baati is also equally popular in Indore's food, You should definitely go to "Rajhans" to eat authentic Daal-Baflaa Malwi Thali.
Indore which is known for Vegetarian Food, but this man some how will find Non Vegetarian food to satisfy his belly. He is capable of finding Non Veg food in Mathura also.

Very nice. Nafees has lovely food. Their haleem is awesome (Friday-Sunday it used to be available in Old Palasia branch). Kadaknath chicken is from Jhabua I think. Khandwa road has some dhabas which serve it too.
For the first time I saw Kunal mix mutton with salad. Something rare to see. His way of eating healthy food. As expected, non-veg was to follow and nice to see some good mutton at Nafees. That that home made Kadaknath looks yummy. This breed is yummy and super nutritious but is not as popular. Understand the hatchers faces a lot of turmoil during the bird flu of Jan 2021. Many including a celebrity had to suffer a loss due to this - I heard . As the hosts described - Indore truly is cosmopolitan and the food shows the glimpse of that culture.
