Forgotten Hollow is one of my favorite worlds. I know it doesn't have much, but it works so well as a little dark mountain village. I have 1 community lot where the starter home lot is, so the villagers have everything they need.
as a 2000s kid the way you pull out all the furniture and put it in piles outside makes me so nostalgic for those dollhouse type decorating games that were on friv and stuff and being so overwhelmed by all the piles of furniture at the beginning. friv was elite, it was a sad day when my primary school blocked it on the computers because people were playing too much friv (fireboy and watergirl was a personal favourite of mine)
I didn’t know gatehouses were a thing until I saw this. My cat also enjoyed listening to the video (don’t know if he understood what was being said but he was falling asleep to it lol). I really like these sorta cool niche builds! :) Like to see something different than the usual family home builds
My best friend incroduced me to your videos and they are the highlight of my day Aiden. Your voice is so calming and relaxing, it's better than any anxiety medication I've had ❤❤❤ I've always wanted to live in a gate house!
Beautiful gate house. Too bad there isn't a big lot in the distance to build the castle on. Quite a while ago, I watched a show from England showing tiny houses. An elderly couple were living in a gatehouse of a large estate. It appeared to be very small. About the size of a one car garage. Built with stone and surrounded by bushes and flowers. You entered into a door and were in a small anteroom that, through one door, lead to a small but well-equipped bathroom. Through another door was a cozy bedroom. Down a circular staircase, you land in a sitting room with a tiny dining area next to a small kitchen. The sitting room had a long window all across one wall which allowed a lot of sunshine into the small home. Through a door next to the window, you could travel to a comfy sunken garden patio. The patio, up top, had an iron fence with bushes and flowers which hid it from view, so it was a pleasant surprise to guests. The couple were about to begin packing up to move out as the husband could no longer handle the small staircase. It was beautiful. I hope I remember this to build in my game. Thanks!

I've battled with attention problems for years and your videos are some of the few I can watch or even just listen to without getting distracted, the wittiness and passion for architecture speaks volumes to my rapid paced mind. I love spooky week and I adore this tiny gatehouse!! I recently built a gatehouse (not tiny) in my rebuild of Henford-on-Bagley and moved the Scott household in…strange thing is, Ms. Scott no longer appears as the pub-keeper now that I’ve interacted w/ her and her husband…Sims!!
With the interactivity between Werewolves and the other occult packs, a let's player I saw hoped the principal career would be playable as an advancement of the teacher career from Discover University. Instead the principal was replaced but was still allowed to walk around like a creep. What a waste..!
My nan use to clean for a lady who lived in a gate house for the manor house. Both the manor and the gate houses still exist. The manor is now a 5 star hotel and the gate house is still a private home. The house has a tiny walled garden but that's it. There was another Manor house which had 4 gate houses only one is lived in and saw it up for sale a few years back. I found an old photo and originally the drive had a huge arch with a gate house on either side however when the structure was demolished they only kept the lower half of one side. The building itself was one house with the arch running through the middle kind of like how you hvae the bathroom above the arch in that was a hall with a a bedroom upstaird and the bathroom was down. On the other side was the kitchen and dinning room downstairs with the living room upstairs. Both sides had spiral staircases. I may have do down load your build as I want to give it a little rejig floor plan wise, I'd have put the doorway with stairs in the small block under the arch, shtink the bathroom down so you have a hall and bathroom leading into the kitchen and living room and place the bedroom downstairs and have a door into the back garden from the bedroom.
They really need to somehow tie the wall height to a room, not floor level. That way, you could have a wall with the castle gate (tall wall height) and the rest of the house could have reasonable short walls.
I can’t wait to see what you’re going to do with the new pack! This little gate house is stunning! Very inspiring. I need some inspiration for Forgotten Hollow and the upcoming new world
