I love Johan Carlén so fucking much, to me he's like the sixth member of Avatar. He contributed so much to the visual identity of the band during the last 10 years, his videos are clearly as original and entertaining as the music in itself. Glory to Johan, glory to Avatar, but most importantly, GLORY TO OUR KING!

i always hated seeing reactions to this song and seeing people call it a "bee or wasp"; because it...doesn't look like either of those things... I love that it's a cicada, carrying the metaphor of those huge sudden changes that they go through after a long hibernation of the self. waking up into the world after so long and suddenly being aware of yourself, then literally outgrowing your skin and hatching into something so different (and imo, beautiful). It really just fits perfectly, this song and video are amazing.
As a animation student for 3d this music video had my nerdy heart going crazy, I'm so glad you guys did this and I'm so glad we got to see all the mocap and stuff, thank you so so much - I can't wait to graduate

This increased my appreciation for the video. It was cool seeing Mpululu Ntuve dancing like the bug. And yes, the original movie for Carrie is way better than the remakes. :)

Avatar (and team) does an amazing job with the production of their videos. They are always up to par with the music itself, which makes the whole experience that much more enjoyable. I love these behind the scenes videos. Keep it up.
In the music video when the cicada was getting beat my heart starting hurting especially when it started running away bleeding 😭 in the end when it grew it’s wings I got so happy my heart was racing the entire video. That’s when you know a band is talented Al though we all know this band always does amazing with everything they do 🙏🏼❤️
