    My dad was a logger out in California in the mid to late 1950 and logged redwood on the coast. Had a shake and shingle mill. These old films sure got me teared up missing him! Thanks for sharing!

    Awesome video !...........hard working men, a lost time for sure. With this so goes the country. The loss of these type of folks and their mindset of hard work, family and country is showing up in the rot of society that plagues us today. Thanks for sharing this .

    Wow I did this in South ga River swamp built cabin on island Great retreat rarely used chainsaw at almost eighty I still enjoy the fishing shack 😊

    Just think of the balance they had standing up and working in them little boats. I have a hard time standing up and moving around in a 16/48 aluminum jon boat!!

      I think nowadays you would have to do it on private land
