I must say that I'm amazed in how well you've actually made a ship that looks like a ship.
I'd love to see how you'd design something scaled up to the size and armament of the end-of-WW2 battleships like the _Iowa,_ since WoWS stuff just doesn't ever seem to get much beyond "heavy cruiser" size.

Are we gonna talk about how much the new music fit Lath’s scramble to attach rams to the vehicle? It perfectly captured his panic, turned to desperate hope, turned to steely determination, and the song’s tempo(representing Lath’s escape) and overbearing guitar(representing the unstoppable force of the enemy craft) are as powerful as any scripted event in another game. The frenetic strings come in as Lath describes the stakes, raising the tension of the moment significantly, while the electric guitar’s slower pace provides a feeling of dramatic strength.

It was pretty perfect all throughout that fight (except the very moment he rammed, but let’s ignore that). The desperate moment he was charging to ram, and then the very sudden change of theme when he captured the thing which was followed by the new battle against the second enemy. Yeah that was all pretty well-timed.

Second, ramming a flyer into the enemy may just be the most awesome thing I’ve seen in adventure mode. We need an entire series of it. Melee craft with harpoons. Bring back the Kracken

7:29: What if you made a boarder playthrought? Basically instead of building your own vehicle you can only take over AI ones and, at most, retrofit them, but without exceeding their size.
i've been watching your stuff for around 5 years now. its always nice coming back to watch the videos you make, they're somewhat relaxing.
Lathrix you should do a campaign where if you want to make a new ship design u have to capture an existing craft and retrofit it. Become the true pirate you were meant to be!

You are in a craft x3 smaller than the enemies craft, your guns won't be suffice to take down the enemy before you do. There is a 2nd enemy in the distance that is likely to respond.
There are a few options:
A. Attempt to gun the enemy down anyway.
B. Out-speed your opponent.
C. Escape through a portal
D. Add long range guns onto your craft (Not really possible, low resource)
E. Be Lathrix and scrap your guns and slap some rams onto your craft, once you have kamikazed the enemy ship like a Japanese zero, you end up conquering the enemy ship its systems and now you're left with 2 half-broken ships left to attack the 2nd enemy. 2 half-broken ships are equal to 1 fully operational ship(s).
F: Alt+f4 because you give up easily and would never think of option E because you're not Lathrix and don't have any of his unique traits.
FYI: I choose F but I would definitely watch the TH-cam version because Lathrix has the best damn video's.
Call the new ship "Blackguard" with a hunter green and ebony color scheme. if the Paladin was a bastion of light life and hope why not devote it's remains to Grandfather Nurgle the chaos god of death and despair

Hey Lathrix! There's been a bit of a change to the different engine systems' efficiency, making big steam engines rather efficient for continuous power loads - such as that big ring shield of yours which is more likely than propulsion what's drawing so much of your power! I'll quote the 3.0.5.6 patch notes :
"Fuel engines: versatile and the components are very cheap. If they aren’t consistently used at their maximum output they will cool down, and their efficiency will be above what’s shown on the stat screens. Good for backups and craft with erratic power usage.
Custom jet generators: efficient, but the components are very expensive to buy and have strict placement rules if you want to use their full potential. Very attractive if you already have a working jet engine, and just have to pay for the generator and some extra combusters/compressors. Cost-inefficient if they are consistently taking damage.
Steam engines: very cheap components and they are much more compact than fuel engines with the same efficiency. No placement restrictions, but their efficiency drops sharply when they aren’t running at their maximum output. Good as the main power source of craft with consistent power usage."

This got me thinking: how many people have made use of a proper boarding pod? A proper, dedicated, glorified missile with a rambot payload? Because, you know, a boarding pod type missile doesn't NECESSARILY have to hold a rambot. It might carry... other things.
Like spinblock powered buzzsaws, sent bouncing around a ship's interior.

Perhaps think Spaceship Battleship Yamato when you rebuild. The idea being keep the core look of the ship, with cool additions to make it work whilst airborne.

I just thought of a cool airship idea:
A "broadsider" with a MASSIVE spinal mount cannon that, instead of presenting its broadside, it faces the enemy and strafes, sending huge 2 or 3m shells at its enemy.
I love the idea of crashing into a ship and using your powers of corruption to eat the ship and take its skin. Some the monster consumed but some it took the form of but... different.

Love the capture though, you took a risk and it paid off. Don't think anyone will have a problem with that.

Yea the side guns are a bit too weak. Proper AA is in order. If it would be a slow airship, How about dropping torpedoes from the undercarriage? I mean, the cannons would most likely deal with ships on the same height, a slow firing EMP cannon on the front and center of the ship, just like previously planned. Then torpedoes for anything else that are in the water. AA would deal with fast moving enemies
I think Blackguard would be a fitting if possibly predictable name for your new vessel

Reworking a existing and unknown ship as the main mover is a entirely different play style from any of the previous ones, so I say go with it when it feels right.

Given how well that ... plan ... worked out and how you are now in posession of a paladin, I'd like to make a suggestion: Melee Lenses.
Hear me out on this. You wanted high impact, close range, particle cannons and nothing says close range like a light saber. Also, if you get the arc right, you might be able to fill the gap with ramming spikes, for an extra kick.

The missile knows where it is at all times. It knows this because it knows where it isn't. By subtracting where it is from where it isn't, or where it isn't from where it is (whichever is greater), it obtains a difference, or deviation. The guidance subsystem uses deviations to generate corrective commands to drive the missile from a position where it is to a position where it isn't, and arriving at a position where it wasn't, it now is. Consequently, the position where it is, is now the position that it wasn't, and it follows that the position that it was, is now the position that it isn't.
In the event that the position that it is in is not the position that it wasn't, the system has acquired a variation, the variation being the difference between where the missile is, and where it wasn't. If variation is considered to be a significant factor, it too may be corrected by the GEA. However, the missile must also know where it was.
The missile guidance computer scenario works as follows. Because a variation has modified some of the information the missile has obtained, it is not sure just where it is. However, it is sure where it isn't, within reason, and it knows where it was. It now subtracts where it should be from where it wasn't, or vice-versa, and by differentiating this from the algebraic sum of where it shouldn't be, and where it was, it is able to obtain the deviation and its variation, which is called error.
First time seeing any gameplay.. Didn't know what was happening but really enjoyed it!
Love the video! have been a fan for a while, and was really liking what you were doing with the original ship. it seemed very different, and I was enjoying that. now lifting a battleship out of the water I have loved seeing in the past, and will continue to love seeing it in the future. I will miss that pointy ship though, and would love to see it worked on or brought back in a one off or as an assistant to your new battlehover, if only to see what you would have done with it without the limited resources. however, I will still love watching your content in any way you chose to go with this playthrough.
