Ben, you were wondering why a pink Porsche in yesterday’s video. That pink porche is a tribute to a 1970s race car (Porsche 917 Pink Pig) that has the exact same color (including those lines and names).
Very interesting Ben! As for the SLS construcion I believe Jordy when he speaks wonder about the new approach, it all makes a lot of sense. But glue doesn't likek UV and doesn't age well in general... Unless they've invented a superglue, I imagine that these sails are going to have a shorter life than traditional sails, and that SLS construction will be confined to high performance models. We will sew our sails when the glue begins to fail... 😉
