    The thing that impresses me the most is your very mature approach to the second round. You are completely void of pretentiouness and seem genuenly humble and ready to work for succes, which at this stage is much more important than success itself. Keep it up!

    It looks like your left miss is coming from your backswing which appears to slightly roll over and go inside, so you compensate the follow through. I do a similar thing, but it has helped me to hit it straighter by making sure to keep the line down your left side of your body straight the entire back swing, feel your left shoulder turn down to the ground (towards left foot) rather than across your body, and tilt and turn your head slightly to the left before you swing. All of that will make you turn way better and the left miss will disappear instantly, and you are already working with a great swing though. You are just fighting centripetal force at the moment and it will be hard not to hit it left. Good luck

    Nerves...best story I heard was a young amateur ask a seasoned pro about nerves on the first tee......seasoned pro says if anyone says their not nervous then their a liar!..it's how you deal with it which is the secret.....just be like a duck...paddling like buggery under the water and serenely swimming along looking as if it's effortless. If you're playing the next one at Oxford the way your swinging and using good course management and strategy it will suit your game well - I was a member there for 10 years plus and went back last season - they still have the best greens in the county in my opinion - best of luck - looking for a top 10 thus time out!!

    quick question, why isnt your coach encouraging you to change your driver swing from a hook (almost = face almost closed at impact) to a very soft draw, and or aiming point if you know the finish point is so far left? Massive potential for a corrective swing change and also creating dynamic loft stopping the low driver flight.
    Thanks

    Only recently found your channel but really enjoying your content, I find it resonates well with the average player like me. I am a high handicapper but I think once you start finding more fairways you will sink more birdies. Perhaps need to tame your draw spin off the tee to avoid the left rough. That was the pattern I was seeing. Good luck. Subscribed

    Wont make a long dumb post to be laffd at, but will make this short wondering post. 😏 if you think you can consistently fade a ball with a square stance and body action, ... well this round has shown that's not gonna happen. Told yah how to be a consistent two way ball mover before. But that was funny to yah. I could laff back, but I won't. Good luck putting square pegs in round holes. 🤕

    • @joshlynch5676
      @joshlynch5676 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      I don't think you understand the rules of ball flight. Club face interaction relative to path is all that matters. You can turn your body whichever way you'd like, but it doesn't help with much as far as attempting to fade or draw a golf ball.
      Using your broken English, I hope you can convey something that makes actual sense next time.

    • @kingshark3503
      @kingshark3503 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@joshlynch5676 ... you dont get how ball flight works, that's why you just regurgitating that same ol line with no examples.
      Let me help you.
      See how your guy james is missing wedges left, ... and he's standing square, which in short irons, the loft is going to send you left, and is why hogan said, open the stance, lead foot back to counter that "ball flight"
      Look genius, golf is a counter duality game, something has to offset something to get the desired result.
      But, do tell me anything. Lol. 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

    • @kingshark3503
      @kingshark3503 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@joshlynch5676 .... to think Hogan figured it out before all this technology, open stance is left to right, closed stance is right to left. N just some slight clubface manipulating, with no swing adjustments, just normal action and presto, you moving the ball left and right in a consistent manner.
      Put the trackman down, and go buy Hogan book. Or just go TH-cam bernard Langer explanation on how to do it. His way is even more simplified.
      Now good day, night, or whatever sir.

    After following some of your progress (going back to the Gorilla James days) and with golf being all about opinions and the blind leading the blind. ie a 22 handicap telling his mate "you're coming over the top" has always tickled me.
    I'm sure this comment will get completely ignored, but the common theme of your golf game is you can miss it right and also left. If you can't take one side of the golf course out of play you will never be able to compete. For example, aiming down the left knowing you are going to hit a fade back into play (for a right hander) is the key.
    Now for the blind leading the blind comment (I'm ex PGA which counts for sweet FA after undertaking the training) but your takeaway is SO under plane on the way back, you break your wrists and wrap the club inside, which means, on the way down you will have to unwrap them, - unwrap them too much and you'll hook it, don't unwrap them and you'll block it or anywhere in-between. (this event you had half decent timing, but it will never be consistent).
    I can't add a photo to this comment but if you pause this video at 5 seconds you can see at waist high on the take away just how inside the club is and how you've flayed your wrists open.
    I'm amazed this hasn't been picked up by your "coach".
    There is a great video explaining it here:
    th-cam.com/video/wqhXzwiFCJY/w-d-xo.html&ab_channel=DannyMaude
    And it can be quite clearly backed up by watching Tiger:
    th-cam.com/video/2D90nVTal9o/w-d-xo.html&ab_channel=TheGolfPerformanceCode
    th-cam.com/video/oGTKW_UbusM/w-d-xo.html&ab_channel=GolfswingHD
    Or Mcilroy, or any top player.
    Again, blind leading the blind, but you'll never be consistent until you sort that take away out.

    Golf is so annoying. You work your arse and it shows with how far your short game has come in a short period of time. Just when you have the harder parts of golf under control, you then struggle to consistently hit it well off the tee. Really is a bloody stupid game at times.
    Enjoyed it though and superb experience for you. Every time you get in those positions, it adds to the bank of experience. Onwards.
