Congrats never let a loss of job slow you down a job loss is suppose to get the creative juices flowing perfect example of keeping the income coming in NICE JOB!!!!!!!!!!!!!
So I live in a rather small area of Kentucky. And so today was the first time I'd seen an Ice Cream Truck come by our area. I didn't see it, because I'm blind, with little vision, but I heard the music, that I'd heard on TV before, on COPS, or some Police show I watch. But I heard similar music as I was waiting for my assistant to take me somewhere. Well, I hear the music, and I say in my head, "That's an Ice cream Truck that's coming by!" I waved, and smiled at the direction it was coming, and it passed by. It was fascinating how I had never had one come by where I live, but today one did. But that revived a question I've had for a very long time! "WHAT GENERATES THAT MUSIC, that is associated with Ice Cream Trucks that pass?" What exactly is the source of the music? I want to know the source, and while I don't eat Ice Cream, as I eat through a feeding tube, I'm still curious about the music, and how exactly an Ice Cream truck operates. What's behind the scenes exactly?
Imo, it's better to use trailers instead of depending on one solitary motor to make income. From my experience in trucking, mechanics are in no hurry for the customer, and trailers have more options for movement in a pinch.
Fun fact about me: I have drove a ice cream man off my friends street so me and my friend spent a year mine you we were in fourth grade next year we start about 90 bucks a day mind you again we are in fifth we do it once a week same day as ice cream man person and we have lower prices and our last time or second to last ice cream man comes sets up the street next to us and no one comes it was fun and our goal was accomplished hope you find this comment :)
Most of the other ice cream truck companies in my area. Have gone out of business. Which is good news for me. You see I only do my streets once a week. So they dont suffer from burn out.
@@kitt2000carare there typically restrictions where you can and can’t post up? Like…if you wanted to just park your truck at a local park would they ask you to leave?
@@theGrayArea2 Most parks in my area you have to pay if you want to sell in them. I just do streets. I do not do events either. Most organizers want way too much money. Years ago I was invited to a first nation pow wow. They wanted $500.00 bucks per day no thank you was my reply.
I have trouble seeing how a child can afford a $2-4.00 ice-cream. Especially when McDonald's charges $1.00 for a cone. Been seriously thinking soft serve might be the best way to go.
The reason people sell pre-packaged is the health department most likely and liability is less of a issue also probably different license and make sure your sanitize daily no overnight storing of soft serve McDonalds is the marketing king it cost less than .25 to make a Big Mac
And you would trust the woman? You don't know either of them lmao foh not trusting a dude just because he's a dude but if he turned into a woman you'd trust him? Get off the internet.

I appreciate the content on ice cream business
Operating a business is not as easy as it looks!
I had ice cream trucks for 8 years. There's a lot in this video they don't tell ya. lol
Mind sharing a few things you think they are leaving out

You should look into the new Cenntro electric vehicles they make the perfect ice cream truck
What's business like in the winter? I know those Chicago winters are COLDDDD.
I’m in love with this story 😍
I would love an ice cream truck just for fun
They're crips!
How do you sign up with icecream vendors? What route did you have to take?
Did you ever find this information?
Can you guys come out tomorrow to Chicago to my grandma's house to surprise me with your ice cream truck for free

In my area all of the people who operate ice cream trucks look like they are struggling financially. How does that compare to your area?

No soft serve? How sad!
Way too many health regulations in my area for that.

Okay smarty pants 🤓
As if their parents don't give them $2-4.
@Kim Ayo lmao that’s funny I just started a ice cream truck job and now I wanna save up and start my own truck

Thats bold of you to even assume the McDonalds ice cream machine even works
I would not trust that man handing out ice cream to my kids. He needs to be hiding in the freezer while she deals with customers.
Keep your job dude

Do you need licenses or permits for every community or town you drive through?
Yes you do
