When it comes to NCT & EXO they have the culture on lock, every genre, same label. 90's Love was a throw back/homage for all the groups we loved. Wardrobe was on point. 'NCT U - The 7th Sense' is the debut for NCT, it's a vibe. Those first 5 members were then used to help create the units, Taeyong, Mark, Jaehyun, Doyoung, Ten. 'NCT U - Make a Wish' has the same 90's style vibe with breakdowns like It's the 'Quiet Storm.' Every unit in NCT is Fiyah, NCT 127, NCT DREAM, WAYV, enjoy the music. I'm glad that you found this song...you see there is a reason why this song came out of SM and not another company. You see when k pop started, back in the 90's, one of the main catalysts for it was the CEO of SM, Lee Soo Min. And what he knew what the kids liked was American hip hop. So he gave a call to America, asked a couple of producers to come over and help them create a sound. One of those producers was the co creator of New Jack Swing, Teddy Riley....and to tell you the truth, even though Teddy is back in America, I wouldn't be surprised if he helped on this song. So that is why this is so reminiscent of that genre...Teddy was the inspiration...
