Jokes aside, if you consider RE zombies aren't dying from one brain damage shot, but from complete brain destruction or at least enough kinetic damage, basic pistol or shotgun with it's stopping power will do much more damage than just a bunch of small rifle bullets that goes through relentless zombies or beefy monsters like needles, especially body, so it makes sense both from balance and lore points.
@@J0rdan912 5.56 rounds or any other intermediate cartridge have way more stopping power than a pistol round. The temporary cavity left by these rounds is more than enough to kill them in one headshot.
@@popemobile12 I described it more from RE standpoint where rifle bullets are supposed to be smaller and faster, but weaker. If you go full realistic, that will completely break the gameplay for every military-grade weapon, turning survival themed RE games into RE6 or Chris' chapter in RE Village. Realistic not always better, in classic RE games rifles can't be as powerful as sniper rifle in later games, RE4 did it better where M4 was one of the most powerful weapons in terms of DPS, but scarce rifle ammo made it useless. The best course for RE3 "rifle realism" was replace M4 with Hunk's MP5, that will make much more sense in terms of balancing, realism and using it in urban scenario with potential survivors that UBCS were supposed to rescue.
They always say to shoot zombies in the head. In the canonical animations of the franchise this works. But in the new remakes you shoot them in the head with a rifle and they still have their heads intact 😒
@@ErwinGunsmith Yes, I've seen it before. Capcom is like Rockstar Games, always making life difficult for players, always in the hardest way. Unfortunately, the lack of realism in games makes me less and less willing to play. 😖😣😴
How much DPS do you want?
Yes!
😂😂
I almost felt sorry for those hunters. Lol almost.
😏
Realistic damage for the CQBR

How it should be 😎

I think there is a mod for deadly headshots
