Does anyone know where you can get an updated version of (mbox launcher) version 9 which is included in x96 air ?? the one that is included is one I like but it is very unstable and stops working suddenly and then it won't open again until you factory reset the android box Have tried many launchers but they are often made stupidly, wrongly. For example, the TH-cam app does not appear in the list on all launchers can anybody help me?

Hello. Do you know why x96 air measures such low speeds on the built-in storage? On the box it says (eMMC room) it is a kind of memory card technology. Both eMMC and SSD operated on the NAND principles, where the data is transmitted through the NAND ports. eMMC usually has only one NAND port, while SSDs tend to have more. Think of the NAND gates as highways that allow the flow of traffic. If a city has only one highway in and out, it will probably be congested at all times, and traffic will move slowly. But if there are several highways, the traffic is distributed between them, so that the cars, that is, the data moves faster. This is what happens between eMMC and SSD. SSDs usually have a much faster read-write speed compared to eMMC. The top speed of SSD is about 1500 MB / s, while for eMMC the top speed is only 400 MB / s. SSD still quite expensive. Consumer level SSDs are up to four times more expensive than HDDs, which in turn are quite more expensive than eMMCs. This is why SSDs are rarely used in consumer-level electronics.

For Netflix in HD, I will get a separate Mi TV Stick. I know that the Mi Box S can do both, but it only has 1 USB port, and if that port dies, I’d be in trouble.

I have this box but it keeps disconnection from the wi fi . I tis in the same room as the router. If I get anethernet cord will that fix it ? It drives me crazy. You are watching a movie and it just stops and spins the blue circle of death and the wi fi is gone.

2 weeks usage has no issue. But after i plugged a flashdisk and watch some movies from it, the device & flashdisk were very2 hot. After few days my daughter said the box would not connected to the wifi. Tried another wifi channel but won't connect. It detect all the wifi available but won't connect. Tried to factory reset several times but the result is the same. I have not tried to re-flash the stock rom or custom rom due to no proper PC / laptop. Does anyone has experience this issue? Is it hardware failure? Thank you

Can you give your opinion about Thermal, when this box work with HD video, 4k video or games ? May be he will work with much more from 50 Degrees Celsius ..
This box has no ventilation. On the tests I did I had no issues with overheating. I'm planing to do a video testing the thermal of all these S905X3 tv boxes ;)

Comes with Nasty front end launcher , and no bottom bar to close back ground apps which must have loads running in backgrond

Kindly does it overheat because there are no holes for ventilation
I did a quick video showing testing the overheating and it was ok :)

This device is not rooted. When you use AIDA64 is shows rooted, but its not. But it can be rooted with Twrp ported flashing Supersu.

Unfortunately chipset has a bug on the ethernet connection, meaning that VPN connection will disable the port!

Not worth it. Can someone show me how to output a true 4K 10-bit HDR video on this one ? It can only output 8-bit video all the time.
