- A quick look at some of the rides at Michigan’s Adventure in Muskegon, MI. This was my first ever visit to this Cedar Fair-owned park and all I can really say is that this is an odd place. It’s located in the middle of nowhere, it lacks shade, it has a bizarre layout, carnival rides are quite prevalent throughout, and it’s really wild how this small park has an enormous wooden coaster in Shivering Timbers. Offride footage featured includes Trabant, Thunderbolt, Corkscrew, Thunderhawk and Wolverine Wildcat. Grand Rapids, Adventure Falls and Mad Mouse were all down and Flying Trapeze is down for the 2022 season as you’ll see in the video. I have a question, is the park admission cover the rides? or is there a whole other charge for rides? I am taking my family to an amusement park for the first time and its not clear on the website if it covers rides.
Michigans Adventure is pay one price and everything (except Slingshot and RipCord) is included, and that includes the water park. Enjoy your trip!
This might be a dumb question considering the size of the park, but do you think Fast Lane is worth it? For Shivering Timbers alone? Visiting for the first time this weekend, used to going to Cedar Point so really don't know what to expect crowd wise. Everyone says it's pretty empty but then I see Shivering Timbers holding hour long waits...
I’m not sure since I went on a rather non busy day, but I had FastLane since I still have season long privileges from my Canada’s Wonderland Platinum Pass. I think it’s only $45 too, so if you don’t feel like waiting in lines, I say go for it. The only coaster you don’t get is Corkscrew and the others dump you directly into the station. Enjoy your visit!
If it's busy go for it. All the coasters but two only run one train, so things can back up quick when it's packed. Operations were smooth on my two visits this year. There was a bit of a maintenance issue that slowed Shivering Timbers down for a bit but even then it was only a 30 minute wait. The park wasn't very busy those days though.

why did they go cheap on wolverine wildcat??? either do something or dont. such a waste of land.
Hmmm. Gotta disagree with you there. That is one of my favorite coasters now. And I really think they will keep adding Titan track to the rough spots every off season until it's all Titan. Maybe it will eventually inherent a Millennium Flyer from Goldstriker. It will be an elite ride when that happens. Phoenix but smoother and more laterals. What would be wrong with that?
@@carysage you should ride more coasters. but i have love for MA. I hope they improve it.
@@DreamofThrills Lol. I do have about 100 credits so its not like that's the only park I know, but riding more coasters is definitely the plan!
@@carysage once you do youll realize wolverine wildcats layout stinks overall. i love a wooden coaster tho. even though its losing that lol
