Great review as usual Josh! Not super big on these or the 1906R, especially these with the metallic silver accents they remind me of the Asics I had in middle school and not something I'm interested in wearing now. With that said, I'm quite a fan of the 2002R - because of the extra bulk, I find they work better with baggier pants like cargos or double knees, and the comfort is great, so I'm sure others who prefer the slimmer silhouette will love these.

These look both great. I’ve got those green ALD’s and for me TTS is the way to go. Same as all asian made New Balances for me. I will make sure my gf follows you on IG or TikTok for that Japan travel, got me hyped and I’m not even the one going there😂. Great review bro! Keep it up.

I have 860v2 red, and I have 2002r and 1906r. Whey have a differences, I mean 860v2 use true technology like a 860v2 in 2009. Platform in grey area is true hard, it’s made with more stability. This hard foam use only on 860v2, 2002r and 1906r haven’t they.

Like them, I could see me snagging a pair on the clearance rack somewhere for $50. But no way are they worth the $120+ retail now. This same shoe just a few years ago would be $69.99.95, all day every day. No way inflation has doubled the cost of production in that time. These are low to mid level shoes. I smell a nostalgia money grab by NB.
