Goodbye 2024 with Hunslet Austerity Steam on the Kent and East Sussex Railway

Last day of 2024, so what to do? it was time to visit KESR
The weather was gloomy, but the 2 steam locos were out putting in sterling work with the big hill to climb up into Tenterden Town station
more smoke than Mount Vesuvius from Swiftsure as it attacks the grade.
we have a run to Bodiam and back to Wittersham Road behind Number 25 then a look around the station and signal box before we hopped on behind swiftsure for a run back to Bodiam and a slog back up the hill to Tenterden. and that was the last ride for 2024.
Still, a pleasant return trip through the Kent and East Sussex countryside was had
