Ok so I’ve run a few battery packs thru this truck. The first one I got had a diff problem and the diff broke 8 minutes in to the first run. The replacement I received had no diff issues. It handles great and is very quick for the size. My only issue is the range. The vehicle goes out of range only 50’ away which is much less than most of the other 2.4ghz transmitters/receivers that come with other budget trucks. Other than that, it’s very solid and quick.
Very well done video Ricky!These things are pretty cool for sure! The monster truck kinda reminds me of the HyperGo version Bezgar is putting out, which is ultimately a rebranded MJX.
I think the buggy looks cool too, and wins in the looks department for me. It’s so nice to have some really good options out there, and not just HBX and WLtoys. Both of those companies offerings are amazing in their own right. With brands like Mjx UDIRC, SCY, Rlaarlo, EBonzai, KFPlan,and Ebomu coming out with some pretty solid choices, it’s great to be a hobby grade Rc enthusiast !

The Wltoys14410 was durable but the shafts always bent even if you didn’t bash and this is the reason why I bought the mjx 16210 , the shafts a thick boys
Good Vid. Two cool looking cars. I got 2 Hyper Go (MT and Buggy). Some Points to add: The Chassis is a bit different on the Mew and looks a little weaker than the MJX ones. I prefer the velcro too - that is a plus. The MEW only got 2835 Motors - the MJX git 2845 - so they got more power. Difference between the Buggy and MT - the springs on the Buggy are about 10mm shorter - than the MT ones.

These are currently about $30 cheaper than the brushless MJX Hyper Go models- do you think the original ones with separate esc/receiver are worth the extra money? My experience with HBX has been fantastic- they are bulletproof. I have an original brushed hyper-go that is also pretty durable. I’m wondering if the truck is worth getting to add to my fleet of cheap bashers.

Thanks for all of the great content! I was hoping you could point me in the right direction... I love my MEW4. I have just changed the esc to a hypergo one to allow 3s. It doesn’t seem to be working well. Can it be programmed? I can seem to find anything on how to do it.

hi.. how about the modulation of the monster truck?
I've been looking at these and the hypergo ,exactly same mechanicals,difference being the hypergo have a separate esc 45amp and radio, and battery strap differs.
I forgot shock towers because of the quick release body shell 😀

Any user forum about this car? I just bought one, but on the very first serious test run of 1.5 battery pack i already have a problem with the steering. I'll try again tomorrow to see if the problem is an overheated servo or worse if really the servo is broken already. I will disassemble to see if maybe a screw needs tightening.
The car runs great and fast, but if it can't handle 2 batteries of run time...
Btw, It felt to me i came out of the box with too much toe-out.

Not super small though. I’ve been asking them for a 1/12 scale since 2018. The owner of Arrma designed the Hpi Savage XS and there are no better mini MT’s than the Savage and LC racing MT.

This rc is great as spare part for my mjx hyper go MT, all the part is identical and compatible to mjx hyper go, and the m163 body is really good because have body protector and i more like the colour that mjx mt that have purple body colour,and of course is cheap

I got the monster truck version. Opened the box and ran it. On the very first battery pack, something failed in the rear diff. I was running it on a parking lot when suddenly the car wouldn’t go anymore. The passenger rear wheel spins about 75% of the way around and then binds up in both forwards and reverse. Amazon is sending a replacement. It was great for about 8 minutes before it broke. I’ll assume this isn’t a build issue just bad luck.

Not 3s capable.
Is any of them 3S capable? Have you tried it?
not as of yet but i dont think the ESC will like 3s. Its a different unit compared to the hyper go range.

I saw the truck on sale for 68 with tax and shipped this morning. Almost ordered it just for the spare parts. I believe these are limited to 2s and when you compare to the latest MJX buggy(has same battery mounting but bigger motor/esc) on 3s the speed looks fairly poor. I'm getting 42 on larger tires with 15mm axle extensions on each side and Zeee 3s 2,200mah battery. You can pickup the receiver/45a esc and motor for about 50 bucks if you want to upgrade slowly. With the 2835 motor my front wheels come up at 20-25 mph if im not careful.

These are Brushless and only do 22mph ? i would think 35 to 42 mph. I have brushed 1/18 vehicles that do 22mph. why are these so slow for brushless ?

Just so everyone is aware I got the buggy version today, car runs fine with the included 2s li Ion packs but it will not accept a 2s lipo pack at full charge voltage (8.4v) . Esc just shuts off. It must be that the esc is reading the lipo charge as a higher voltage then the li ion and shuts it off do to safety. Does the exact same thing with a 3s lipo pack. So that’s my conclusion.
Wouldn’t want to run 3s on such a small little buggy. 2s was more than enough in my opinion
@@beyondRC oh ya it is perfect out of the box with the liIon just weird that it wouldn’t accept the 2s lipo packs. I was just trying to narrow down the capabilities of the esc and troubleshoot with different packs.

This is a downgrade though, the ESC now is integrated with receiver and only capable of handling 2s. You cant use this for hard bashing like its older brother 16210 or 16209.
That’s because it’s a cheaper option.
