    Hi, while theoretical explanation you have said that we can only pass context variables from parent to child , but not possible in case of global variables.
    But in practical you are showing both context and global variables can be transferred to child job.
    Finally we can transfer both context and global variables to child job right? If right please change in theoretical part too.

      @Sumanth, Even I had the same understanding on this... theory and implementation was not in sync...😐

    Hi Azam, Are you using Talend 7 version in the course? Are you providing any training PDFs etc if I purchase the course? Please let me know. Thanks

      Hi Hary,
      Thanks for contacting. Yes, I use Talend 7.1. Here your answers:
      1. The course has around 60 Videos covering majority concepts & every video is a practical walkthrough of the Talend concepts. When you watch a video and follow along by developing the same thing in Talend, you will get in depths of the Concepts.
      2. The Course is very systematic and organized, which helps to understand the concepts step by step. I have over 140 students already benefitting from the course.
      3. There are no PDF's or cheat sheets provided but my Enrolled Students get priority counselling & I provide them with all relevant resources they might need.
      4. When you open the below given link, you can watch introductory video first to get overview of the course.
      Kindly note If you would like to buy this Course, use below link since it's gives Udemy Instructors a bit more credit of their efforts:

    Hi Azam,
    I have a scenario where I have a child job which is runing for each table (hence sequencially) But I want to run multiple instance of the child job parallly (one for each table) , how I can do that in TALEND ?

    • @techwithazam6992
      @techwithazam6992  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      u need tParallelize component which is available only in paid enterprise edition... maybe u can explore my Talend udemy course, could be useful to understand parent child and many other concepts... www.udemy.com/course/talend-data-integration-using-talend-open-studio/?referralCode=00F56563FA9680DE364D

      Thank you Azam, even with tParallelize component how will i create multiple instances of my child job ?

    • @techwithazam6992
      @techwithazam6992  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@rohitchugh5687 U can create a Child Job with dynamic option (see properties of tRunJob component). Use one Child Job and use it over and over with diff parameters (generalize the logic). maybe this helps and this is possible inside talend open studio

    As per initial communication in the video using context parameters only we can pass the values from parent to child . But finally using global variables also we are able to pass the values from Parent to child job. Can you please clarify

    These free videos are more better than your Talend course videos on Udemy. I have never seen the demo videos in your course. really disappointed.

    As always Great Video. Is it possible to pass a Regular Expression to the Global or Context Variables. Say, I have a Global Variable TABLE_KEYS variable and want to concatenate Col1+Col2 and assign to TABLE_KEYS and use with tMap component?

    • @techwithazam6992
      @techwithazam6992  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      In tMap, use colA+colB, if both are string columns, they will be concatenated! use Expression Builder inside tMap for more options!
