I think most if not all my area stores are NCI stores. I never really watched them or studied them unless they were remodeling but of course I check them for pennies as often as I can. Thank you for all the info.

I have a question please why is it that you can go to one Dollar General scan something and it scan as a penny. then go to another Dollar General in the same town scan the same item and it not be a penny?? I'm new to all of this and that really aggravates me
Make sure that UPC's match, and if that is the case, then it is just a matter of YMMV, your miles may vary. This tends to happen more with remodels, NCI items, POG Resets.
To me I know they put popshelf in the Dgs at Christmas time this is my guessing but I (THINK) they might turn one or 2 maybe to a popshelf DG all in one I'm just guessing but something is happening everything is 50% off in the NCI and the Bedding towels sheets Baskets Furniture

If you enter the UPCs in the video, they are a penny, you have to find those exact items though.

I found Halloween candy and products for 1 Penny but the cashier charged me $6 tax on my .45 Penny items. Has anyone experienced this before?
It shows that on the receipt? The system adds tax automatically, cashiers cannot adjust that
