You guys should definitely get an annual pass to Universal. Hogsmeade is also amazing and the Harry Potter rides are incredible (so are their other rides). They do a beautiful job decorating everything for Christmas too. I cried the first time I saw Hogwarts.
I've never been to Disney nor Universal Studios and these are bucket list items... so I'm living vicariously through you until then....🥰
This makes me so happy. I knew you’d love it!!! I’m a big Disney baby BUT watching you over the years say you’ve never been to Universal or HHN, i would yell at my tv like YOU HAVE to go!! You appreciate Disney for the quality and the vibe, and Universal delivers too. Just a change of scenery. ❤ Now you need to go to Islands Of Adventure to experience that. You’ll love it!!

I loved it when I went in 2018! You gotta try the RIP tour! It’s a group that goes around with a guide and they tell you about each house, you have snacks and get to go to drink locations that are designated for RIP tours

I went this year and got really in my head unfortunately. I only did Stranger Things and I think if I had done more I would have shaken any remaining nervousness right off. HHN is awesome!!! We do the AP in the top tier..as our kids are a bit older and have outgrown Disney. The valet parking is available with these passes and is a major perk ❤. Favorite coaster is Hagrid’s in Islands of Adventures, you soooo have to experience this!

I give you so much credit for doing this! I would never be able to. I can't watch movies like Saw or the other Halloween movies that are gory. I get nightmares so easily. I was able to find videos of people walking through it and even though it does not phase me through that, I would be freaking out and wanting out not even a second in. Paranormal Horror is all I can withstand.
I’ve been to Universal once last year. I didn’t even know they had Halloween Horror nights! I got the Luna Lovegood purse. ❤❤ I love Luna.

Universal is my childhood. 😢 my kids are obsessed. We have annual passes, it’s right around the corner from us (California). BUT I have heard the Orlando one is bigger and better.

You should get a annual pass for universal as well. I love Disney and Universal both. Angie you are a lot like me and I’m 55 and go to HHN every year with my adult daughter. We have a blast.❤❤❤
Disney girl here. HHN is great. Have done it for the past 3 years now. I thought I’d be so scared in the houses but most times I think I know when things are gonna happen and sometimes they get you good! It’s definitely enjoyable and a fun but tiring night! (Im not from FL so we do all 10 houses in one night with the express pass)

I went for the first time this year too. We unfortunately didn't get the express pass and the lines for the houses (even on a Wednesday) were too long to wait, the shortest being 90 minutes. I loved the scare zones, although a couple were cheesy. I will say, that it would have been more fun if there were more people. All in all I would absolutely go back in a heartbeat. And Diagon Alley totally took my breath away.
The urge to watch this now is insane. But I will find my will power and save it to watch while I bake my Halloween cake pops 👻✌🏽🍁

So the reason why they try to move guests along , is because the experience is timed. If you delay and hold back they don’t stop. The music and everything is timed so the person behind will not get the full experience or surprise since they can see what happens.

You need to go back to do all the Harry Potter stuff. You need a ticket to both parks and can take the Hogwarts Express back and forth. You will totally geek out!
We love having Universal and Disney parks to visit all year round, the scare houses are pretty scary for me but I still do it as it makes amazing memories for the family and hubby and son absolutely love seeing and hearing me scream! we purchased Express passes and this year we needed them! especially as we had rain and I wasn't about standing around in the rain, glad you had fun! Those tin candles you can also pick up in IOA at the back of the shop on the left hand side, or Margaritaville shop on City Walk and they are also sold in Endless Summer Resort loads if different scents!!

I can understand being nervous , I am nervous about new things and even family get togethers I stress big time , but I get through it once I actually get there I have a good time, what I usually do is imagine going then think about when I. get home have my pjs on and a hot chocolate I know I’m weird but I hope this helps because I always have a great time xx
Orlando resident here…. I hope you do go back to Universal and ride some of the rides and see some of the shows, especially the Bourne Stuntacular! Just jaw dropping! Also, Skull Island, Jurassic World! On and on! You’d love them. But most of all, I hope you go back and explore Hogwarts castle and all of the Harry Potter shops, train, castle, etc!

As an avid HHN fan I am so happy you made this video! I’ve been going every year since I was a little kid and I couldn’t agree more with all your newbie tips! You definitely did it the right way by getting express pass. I think you should definitely check out IOA the next time you will love the Jurassic park area! Also I think you’d love it at Christmas time during grinchmas! 😊

So glad you guys had a great time!! I went to Universal Studios Japan a few times while I was there and the very first time I went to the Harry Potter area I teared up a little. It was so incredible! I will say even after that first time I still had this sense of wonder and amazement going into that area. I'm sure the one in Florida is next level though. I will say, the three broomsticks is also a great place to eat. c:

I am so excited to watch this video because I did a thing last week, and my friend and I bought round-trip tickets from New York to Florida for a 2-park, HHN pass in about two weeks. We're insane, we are flying to Florida at 6 in the morning, straight to universal, Halloween Horror Nights until closing at 2am, driving right back to the airport for a 6am flight back to NY. 🤣😅 I went to Halloween Horror Nights last year and it was AMAZING, and that's the reason why we're doing it again this year because no other haunted attraction or haunted house even comes close to HHN. Universal is up there as my top favorite park in Orlando, honestly. I hope you rode Velocicoaster!!! ----Just got to the "I don't like coasters" comment 😅

IMO, Diagon Alley has the best theming of any theme park land. Hogsmeade is good, but not as good. We always enjoy Universal when we come down even if Disney is the main event.

I love Universal but have only been to the one in California and never to HHN. Thought it would be way too scary. The rides there are the best.
You should go to universal studios grinchmas holiday party. Or go to Universal Studios AND Islands of Adventure for christmas ( if your a Dr. Suess and harry potter fan)
