Those were done good sized waves Matt! You tamed them like a kid playing in the backyard! You can shred brother! I amazed at how “in touch” you are with your equipment. Must be nice to have that much experience under your belt. I’m 6 seasons in this sport and I’m still chasing a “green” ride and a carved bottom turn…lol! You did a great job Erin! I know how hard it is to see a camera screen in the sun and how hard it is to then see and keep a moving subject in frame on the camera. Don’t be so hard on yourself…lol. 😉 Cheers, John
Not to bad, when this was filmed I think water was still above 40f. Thanks! I'm think I may do some similar videos on old boards since I'm not sure what builds I'll be able to to do next year. Luckily I have two more fins ones filmed.
They really turned out to be a nice looking fin, I'm definitely gonna try a little denim somewhere. My old simmons had the tracking problem in waves with more power too. I ended up having to put in extra plugs slightly further forward with 0 toe and heaps of cant, it didn't like getting out on the face as much but it was nasty in the pocket. Got any ideas for your next project?
Thanks! They are definitely a favourite of mine I've made. I think on this board it's more how I shaped the rails, they are sharp through most of the board. Maybe I'll make a set of fins that push the fin forward instead of adding a new box to the board. I have two sets of singles fins I'm done and editing the videos for now. They're not experimental builds as I need to try to sell some to afford resin, so I can make more weird stuff. I am planing/started a couple wood boards that I'm going to try to avoid resin on in the mean time.
@@WaveWasters that cool wood boards are a whole step up in skill and tools, I certainly won't be attempting one😄 but from what I've seen of your workshop you know your way around wood. I look forward to seeing it come together
@@ManOfSauce Yeah its a different way of thinking compared to foam. I'm trying two different ways but using free wood so hopefully I can get something that floats.
