18 “If the world hates you, [a]you know that it has hated Me before it hated you. 19 If you were of the world, the world would love its own; but because you are not of the world, but I chose you out of the world, because of this the world hates you. 20 Remember the word that I said to you, ‘A slave is not greater than his master.’ If they persecuted Me, they will also persecute you; if they kept My word, they will keep yours also. 21 But all these things they will do to you for My name’s sake, because they do not know the One who sent Me.
Jesus has chosen and ordained us to go and bring forth a lasting fruit. In doing this you must expect to be hated by the world but that is how it is supposed to be. But this message takes a different look at the reason the world hates Christians. There are many ministers today that have traveled the world to make folks twice the son of hell as they are. As Scripture says in the 2nd Chapter of Romans the name of God is blasphemed by the Gentiles because of you.

David Wilkerson was the Founding Pastor of Times Square Church in New York City. He was called to New York in 1958 to minister to gang members and drug addicts, as told in the best-selling book, The Cross and the Switchblade.
In 1987, David Wilkerson returned to "the crossroads of the world" to establish Times Square Church. As a pastor of the church, he faithfully led this congregation, delivering powerful biblical messages that encourage righteous living and complete reliance on God.

The greatest preacher i've ever heard for the past thirty five years untill now presently,today ,of this age , none to compare no not one , YOU FEEL ME.
It's the Word rightly divided without pretense, He just allows the Spirit to use him. Thank God for preachers who actually preach the Word according to YHWH's Will!

I listened to his sermons every day this summer when my mother was dying. His message kept me close to God so I could minister to my mom.
I have been out of the "Church" for a few years now. I found that the church's of today do more harm than good; with false doctrines, watered-down sermons, etc. The "seeker-friendly church" has taken over, and has done more harm than good. I have found that there are really strong sermons, such as this one, available online; that combined with daily Bible study, prayer, & worship have fed my spirit, rebuked, and offered me more in a month than today's "Church" could offer in a lifetime...

I agree. I went to so many churches that were a bunch of entertainment. No conviction, no love. I do the same like you. I wish it was like before, but this is a different time. The new pastor at the church I use to go to is more than likely a Freemason.

I feel so alone where I live (praise GOD i have HIM, so hated even in every church I have gone to I am hated. So many mega churches even the small churches. I can't seem to find one person that is sold out to GOD. I am ignored when I have gone. The lies from those that teach (they don't minister GOD'S WORD) from bibles that are not kjv. The word of GOD is twisted there. It is all about money and books that are written by people. So much more that is against GOD's word. In continual prayer. Jesus is coming soon, oh how i love HIM, my hope is in HIM, Lin (PLEASE COME QUICKLY LORD JESUS)

When I feel inspired, I share with those around me and I do so with compassion and empathy...however like this Preacher says, the World doesn't care at all. However, I will dance my dance and whatever comes out of it, comes out of it. Even if I reach one person out of a million, that is enough for me.
Reading the comments I see there are many who are alone. Except we do have the Father and our Lord living with us by His Spirit.
Jesus is my only friend. Don't misunderstand that I do have many friends but still am alone for all the same reasons of others I read here
My Lord has spoken to my heart that He called me out, seperated me for Himself. And yes it is sad that we find ourselves alone in churches. I have some very course and rough friends who are truer than Christians I know.
Yes Thank you Lord Jesus for the anointing of the truth of the Almighty God’s Word in Yeshua our Lord Jesus and our Lord and Savior and of the Holy Spirit upon Pastor David Wilkerson and Preaching the truth like it is! This is true love 💕 of Jesus Christ to keep us out of Hell! Where there’s no love, peace nor rest nor forgiveness or loving one another but, hate each other and gnashing of teeth and suffering and suffocating forever with the devil and his angels tormenting human beings every day and night none stop forever and ever! Please accept the truth of God’s Word our Precious Lord Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior in your life before it’s too late! Time is short! What I gained from this is that the Lord is both just and merciful if we are quick to confess you will forgive also if I teach I must be careful what I teach is of the Lord

In S Korea I have searched so many times a true teacher or pastor or real church but couldn’t. Everything are reversed. Good became evil and evil became good, I haven’t heard single sermon like this in S. Korea. They pastors in the country love the world than God, rather becoming the enmity with God, full of pride, arrogance, authoritarianism and greed. When I say any words from Bible, I’ll be hated by even professing pastors and Christians in Korea. The culture of Korea is so wicked. End times is so near.
You are of the true church. A church never meant a building or a formal organization, it meant the spiritual collective of people who follow the teachings. Too many churches claim to be the “one true church“, and none of them can ever be so, because it is not a label or a formal organization. The “one true church“ is the spiritual collective of every individual, all across the world, who each stay true and loyal to the teachings. We are with you. 💕
I’m in the US, I don’t watch TV or news, it’s been years since doing that, but the wickedness and debauchery is accelerating here, as I know the entire world know this. It is an organized assault, both by the spirit realm and its principalities and also by well-funded, very evil and influential humans, set in every country. They also set up false churches, with false ministers, and seek the true ones, so they can send in infiltrators to disrupt them.
The oldest false church in the world is the Catholic one. It was the Roman’s response when they realized they really did kill the Son of God, and they could find no other way to suppress his followers. It was truly setting the captives free and they didn’t want that, they’d tried killing and torturing and that wasn’t working, so they pretended to join them...but instead, they reinstated their pagan traditions in the form of things such as Mary “venerating”, inserting her (really the pagan mother of Tammuz, and Tammuz is who they pretend is the “Baby Jesus”), and saints (their demons, and otherwise it is consulting the dead-Mary and saints, which is necromancy and forbidden anyway) as intercessors instead of Jesus Christ, who is the only intercessor; having priests as “fathers”’ (God said call no man “father”) and confession booths, instead of going to God directly as commanded; praying repetitive prayers (of the heathens, as God put it) and the rosary instead of praying to God; creating and bowing down to statues (idolatry, I don’t see how this one isn’t the most obvious to them); claiming Mary is sinless (only Jesus was) and claiming she was a “perpetual virgin” (Jesus’s brothers and sisters are mentioned in the Bible, the brothers are named), and she is dead like everyone else, not risen in heaven; renaming evil pagan holidays such as Halloween and “All Saints Day” (the pagan Samhain), Christmas (pagan Sun God birth), Easter (Oestara, where they killed innocents and dipped eggs in blood for fertility rituals), and so on...and they added many laws and rules that defy God’s Word, tossing in purgatory, which isn’t in the Bible anywhere, but IS useful to them to extract money for those willing to pay to get dead relatives out of their imaginary place, and therefore also out of Hell, which God would never do. It’s not a monetary issue. God cannot be bought. They used the confessional booths to extract blackmail information (they always knew full well who they were speaking to as well, they pretend they don’t), and to keep in touch with all the relationships and secrets going on (now we have governments spying on our computers and calls instead). Everything about the Vatican in in Vatican Square is pagan, or outright Satanic, I don’t know how the Catholics miss it.
Many of us who seek to stay true meet here in comments, and “attend church” here. It is true that it is a different experience when we can be in the same room together with others who are true to the Word. It is a different experience to gather, especially when all come together to sing loudly and sincerely for God, as if to be heard to the highest point of heaven, and by everything in between. I’ve seen this once... but until we can find places where others like us speak and worship, this is something to keep us on track, and to support each other. Remember you’ve been given the authority to crush the head of the serpent and all his minions, and have on the full armor of God when you do. Have it on at all times...Ephesians 6.

SungW I am praying for you my sister. It’s hard for me to find a good church and fellowship with other Christian here in American. I miss David Wilkerson so much. Thankful to listen to the sermons. I believe we all desire the same thing. To be one in the Spirit, in fellowship with other believers and have a good pastor that’s preaching the gospel without compromising. Some day I believe God will hear the longing of our hearts and and answer our prayers. Stay encouraged. Love all of you saints.

Somtime this life is just to hard for people trying to get right with god its like being under 24 hour beat downs from evryone evrwhere and theirs no where to go they run to church but if were to tough we might turn peope away or even to suicide im not sayong to bend rules but compassion is required in sermons i think

Tigress, I know you’re wiser than to “just Google” for controlled-opposition information, and for anyone else who comes along, most people know that anyone can create controlled-opposition pages, and they’re very well-funded by Tavistock and CoIntelPro anyway...as is Google. And David spoke for himself, and went by the Bible, aired all the meetings for all to hear, and they still air their meetings free of charge (so...not “greedy”, even though it’s expensive to be smack-dab in the center of one of the most expensive neighborhoods in the entire world) and he stays true to the Word.
Funny that people who don’t know a thing about true Christianity and hate what they don’t even know make the most spiteful comments. Condemnation without investigation is the hallmark of a fool, the world is full of those people, and the Bible does say to read, study, and test it. Those that complain most bitterly don’t actually do that...they’re more likely to “just Google” for random opinions, they’re too intellectually and spiritually lazy to truly seek for themselves, so naturally, they will not find. As Jesus said, they have no love for the truth. The truth doesn’t hold your hand and make life cozy, but it does set you free. In a world of lies, one has to make an effort to find truth.
However, some people don’t comment because they feel that is seeking world or fellow Christian approval. Or maybe they’d gone on to the next sermon.
