Tango, I think you just inadvertently created another Bane card. Hallucinate: Armor stand up a couple of random fake ravagers into really inconvenient spots using the same technique as the door and play ravager music discs like foot stomps and roars in random places too. It would give a lot of utility to Beast Sense as well, since it will absolutely confirm that a fake ravager isn't real.
@@HalfInt If it happens frequently sure. But it's the same as clank locations in that sense. At the same time, even if you know the locations - there will still likely be a knee jerk reaction. After all, it might be a real one. If it delays the player for even one second, it worked.
Man, the extra clank you guys were generating is probably part of why the Vexes were coming out so fast, but I wouldn't trade that stairs moment for anything. "I think I'm dungeon hallucinating!"

@@leaf42069 I Know Scar is generally not good at Decked Out but he was on fire that run. The final boss should should be Cleo though. She(/they?) was so close to dropping the F-bomb (or did she actually) when Scar and Grian did the creeper prank on her, she's gonna absolutely hilarious when she realizes the fake ravengers! 😂
I came down here to say this. Two extra players in the dungeon running around playing catch up will be a fair amount of clank and have an impact even without managing to properly troll Scar.
I almost felt bad for Scar, knowing that he had such a great run, getting Bdubs' artifact. He probably would have made out before max Clank if it wasn't for Tango and Bdubs.

Hey Tango, if you're planning on more dungeon trolling, it may be worth adding some secret passages around obstacles like the parkours and dripstone room for the DM which open when you give a certain audio signal that's unavailable to the players, such as a firework or donning armor, the former of which I know you've used previously. Much more trolling could be had if you can bypass that dripstone room lol!
Thank you for reminding us that, behind the redstone know-how, the game design intelligence, and sinister aesthetic to your builds, Tango ... you are a goof.
That was amazing, especially with Bdubs, I hope you guys do it again! I saw another comment about maybe you could wear chestplates since they shouldn't show up with the ravager body and that could help with staying alive, obviously more invis too. Also this was the best use I've seen for those mob costumes. I liked this a lot more than the tree and creeper, in my opinion. Just a hilarious use of pretending to be the beasts in the dungeon.
The tree troll is still one of my favorites ever! I go back and watch it when I need a good laugh. I can now add this episode to my favorites list. Thank you Tango!!!
@@hydra553 I forget who it was but during a livestream run, one of the Hermits said something along the lines of "I bet one of these Ravangers is Tango in a Ravanger costume to mess with us"

But at the moment the later is instant death and the first “too save”.
In decked out level 2, at the far end of the bridge, underneath and slightly to the right of the bridge, there is a 1 block wide, 2 block tall gap in the stone wall, maybe there is an easter egg hidden back there in a tiny hidden room, but maybe there are custom maps on item frames, with the stone texture pattern, to make it look like there is nothing there. Those item frames might be placed on a door so that if you were to run into it, you would not go through, but you would have to right click to open the door, to get through. This way it would be extremely unlikely someone would accidently find it, and the hermits would really have to think outside the box to find it. I think Tango said a while back, something along the lines of, there would be like 3 or 4 easter eggs that would be near impossible for the hermits to find, and Tango would have to give them hints. It's just that a random 1 block, wide, 2 block tall gap in the wall seems suspicious.
Hey Tango, If you are worried about hermits sneaking too much on level 4 you could keep the door open for three minutes after they enter and if they don't get out they have to find a rare key. Just a though. Keep up the good work, welcome to the next golden age. 😊
Scar died by a vex so the fact that almost 3x the clank was being generated is definitely the reason he died so give him a full refund. Moment of clarity and clock included.
If you do troll again like this, you could probably wear a chest plate while you were in visible since normally with the Ramminger disguise on you can only see the feet when you’re not invisible
Tango - just watching a recent- ish stream where you talk about how many ravagers have died. I have a suggestion! I use a resource pack that shows me mob health bars. It's got an extension that makes it so full health bars DON'T show and even one that makes health bars vary by color depending on health. If you used something like this, then you would be able to keep tabs on your dungeon mobs and keep their health topped up with splash potions as needed between runs. You'd still lose a few to more sudden forms of death, but you could catch and prevent most of the ones that are dying of gradually accumulated damage.
Refunding the moment of clarity for scar feels like a must to me. Maybe also give him a level one key to take in to simulate how fast he was going through this run. Or maybe some bonus frost embers handed to him at the beginning of his next run? Tbh I like the sound of card and key.
You should totally taken a swiftness potion as well and maybe a loyalty trident. Troll phase 2 could one eyed tango with a loyalty trident ganging out in the water. Acool legendary card could be dolphins grace which actually moves a dolphin into range so that a swinging hermit gets a dolphins grace boost.
you did affect scar run even while he was speedrunning it, all the extra clank made the vexes appear sooner after all. but i do like these troll runs, is actually like an extra bonus challenge. refunding it makes it harmless and if someone manages to escape while you troll them as a ravager you should give them 4 crowns extra or something like that as price
I imagine a short and slim corridor going to intersect with 2 different room of which their doors are blocked. Players could only get inside by eating a chorus fruit (on the single/tight intersection block )which is only obtainable from the outside shop on deckedout. One room could be filled with treasure or something, the other could max the clank or something I don’t know.. something bad… or they could teleport to corridor having the neutral option.
Tango, decked out is by far the best thing I've ever seen on minecraft, watching you building it and now other hermits playing it is the best TH-cam experience I've had in a very long time. This is a masterpiece!
Genius is Creativity plus work ethic, and Tango I think your achievement with Decked Out Exemplifies this idea. You had an immense dream but you didn't just throw up your hands and say the scale was impossible, that it couldn't be done. You put your head down and you grinded, for hours and hours every day for weeks to months on end. You kept adding on piece after piece and now you have something magnificent, something genius both in form and function. That is seriously admirable man. Seeing Decked Out unfold has really inspired me in my own creative ventures, so thanks Tango. Keep being awesome!
Card Suggestion: Timekeeper Uncommon card, when used pops up clocks at the beginning of level 2 so that people can guage if willie will be in night mode. It could be a rare card from the random item or something.

you did affect scar run even while he was speedrunning it, all the extra clank made the vexes appear sooner after all. but i do like these troll runs, is actually like an extra bonus challenge. refunding it makes it harmless and if someone manages to escape while you troll them as a ravager you should give them 4 crowns extra or something like that as price
Season 7 was so good, and now season 9 is coming up to take it's place! This is amazing.
Until they teleport into the Redstone and are unable to return into the dungeon.
Hermitcraft best quote 2023 goes to Bdubs, "I've never been in the back side before..."
Tango put Grian's SURPRISE goat horn somewhere in the dungeon 🤣🤣🤣😆😆😆
And have one of your troll ravagers pop up using armor stands when it plays
13:37 that's going in the quote book
I really needed a good laugh today, thank you Tango
😂❤ that was the best! Thanks Tango, haven't laughed so much since the tree thing 😂
You know, I always wondered while watching you build Decked Out, how the players were going to actually run it without swearing.
Tango, decked out is by far the best thing I've ever seen on minecraft, watching you building it and now other hermits playing it is the best TH-cam experience I've had in a very long time. This is a masterpiece!
i'm just exploding with love for this game and tangos amazing work
Genius is Creativity plus work ethic, and Tango I think your achievement with Decked Out Exemplifies this idea.
My goodness if i could justify spending $50 on a mouse mat I'd be all over the doors one! Thank you for all the smiles, Tango!
Never bought something on impulse before, but that dungeon doors desk mat called to me... here comes my MTG playmat!
those desk mats look awesome! I might pick up one for myself :D
Card Suggestion: Timekeeper
Uncommon card, when used pops up clocks at the beginning of level 2 so that people can guage if willie will be in night mode. It could be a rare card from the random item or something.
Decked Out 2 is an absolute triumph. Season 9 was already excellent, and DO2 has just made it even better.
Tango had me sold before "just like me", but now I might have to get two, just in case the mat unexpectedly does not withstand continuous palpation.
That's a huge upgrade from the tree... can't wait to watch the whole video!!! 😂🤣
25:42 Scar's reaction was amazing, it was like in cartoons when a character gets so scared, they fly into the air
At least give Scare the pocket watch of shreeping artifake!
I just finished binging all your videos from this season after watching hermits start to play Decked Out. I could not believe how much work must have gone into it, and going back to see it all come together was AMAZING! Great job, man!
Desk Mat ordered!! Very cool merch. I would have ordered hoodie #153, but a desk mat is unique and useful! Nice work. Enjoy Vegas!
Been watching you for a little while now and I was happy when you showed us the desk mats. Ordered the dungeon doors without a second thought. It's amazing when you find something like youtube that makes you happy, it's even better when you make everyone happy!
As soon as Tango said troll in the dungeon, i just heard it in voice of professor Quirrel from the first harry potter movie: "TROOLLLL!!! IN THE DUNGEON!!! Thought you ought to know."🤣🤣
Now you just need to dress up as a key and disappear or run away from Gem as she approaches ;)
😅
