Independence Day Celebrations//2023//De Paul School//Ukkunagaram//Visakhapatnam

De Paul School Ukkunagaram celebrated 77th Independence Day Celebrations in the school campus on 15th August 2023. The school campus and Notice Boards were beautifully decorated commemorating the significance of the day.
The Chief Guest of the day Dr. Vidya Sundar Veeravalli, Chairman and Director of All Saints Group of Institutions hoisted the tricolour Flag and the entire gathering rendered the National anthem. Fr. Christy Varghese, Vice Principal and Fr. Praveen graced the occasion.
A spectacular March past Parade was exhibited by 4 House Platoons, NCC Air wing, NCC Army Wing, Scouts & Guides, Cubs and Bulbuls and was led by the symphony of Band Set troop. The dignitaries inspected the Parade platoons who marched with zeal and vigour.
The mesmerising Cultural Program was a feast to the eyes. Patriotic melody, fervour of patriotism spread through dance styles. Exuberant House wise dances based on the themes of --- “Freedom through education”; “Digital India”; “Clean India .. Green India”; “Tribute to Women” added the phenomenal essence to the joy of Independence Day Celebrations.
Overall Championship (Notice Board display + Theme dance + March past Platoon) was bagged by Ceres House and Runner up trophy was awarded to Janus House. Chief Guest presented the Trophies to the House Captains
Teaching, Non-teaching and Administrative staff along with parents and students called it a day to roll down in the memory lane.
