I really like how you've been focusing on your own games you've been playing and explaining your thought process. I subscribed years ago because I liked your calm demeanor and sportsmanlike, gentlemanly attitude, which makes you an EXCELLENT player.
As someone who's skill level is: "was intuitively pretty good decades ago in public school but then only really practised watching your pause the video moments", i love watching you explore your own positions like this, it's more immersive in a way to guess along with you compared to reconstructing other player's game =)
In my late 20's (wow, 30+ years ago) I was intuitively pretty good also. But that was the fun part for me--"knowing" something should work without being able to figure out exactly how. Then the panic, the wild scramble for the thing I hadn't seen but thought must somehow be there...oh, well. A different era.
Within 2 minutes of the game, his pawn structure was destroyed with 2 isolated pawns and yours were still soldiers all lined up in a row. You played every moved that I was shouting at the screen for you to play. Good game!!!
It did seem offensive at first, but after rereading it really isn’t. Tough part of pure text communication with no context. No harm, no foul. In the end just another sandwich joke 😊
Good Game enjoyed watching your opponent went all out trying to make something happen but to no avail nice counterplay from you pretty cool you were familiar with some of the lines your opponent was trying Enjoy your Day
GG 17.Ba3 given by engine as the bad move & my PC Stockfish chess engine gives Black 17.Qg3+ best giving Black -2.41 advantage (with ...e3 to come & the Q+N attack). This is somewhat of a crazy opening especially in blitz & especially if playing & eating salmon & cucumber sandwiches?! Nice video as per usual-thanks ;-)
Agadmator openings and end games are better than mine. My middle game is somehow better. Our rabid ratings are close. But we both overlook the clearing sacrifice like this game
His opponents Queen had protection from Agads Bishop with his knight that was being threatened on a5 as long as the knight was there it protected his opponents Queen from a Bishop attack on c4 his opponent captured the knight on e5 with his Bishop Agad captured Bishop with his pawn and Opponent captured pawn with his Queen
Black cannot expect to carry out a viable attack that early in the game with only a queen and knight....unless he has center control...which he DID! But he missed the quiet move with the pawn push as its not natural and its very engine-like. And so, he quickly runs out of steam and realizes all his queen and knight can do is look menacing, but offer no real threats.
Played 58,000 thousand games in lichess, an IM, plays in official tournaments, has good knowledge on openings YeT DoEsN'T KnOW ThE NaME 'FRIED LIVER ATTACK'... Lol...
Hey I really like your "live" games, but I will resonate much more if you could include more often games you lose. I am usually losing, so maybe I ( or we, the players under 1100) will feel less alone in blundering or rage quitting. Cheers!
If you think that everyone wants to play a higher rated player, you're wrong. EVERYTIME you play a game, one of the two is playing a lower rated player.
That is not what Antonio says. What you say is both true and obvious. Lichess gives us a choice and because we are all different that system works. I find some strong players enjoy training by crushing weaker players. My personal choice is to offer -100+250. That way I usually play stronger players but accept that sometimes I will play weaker players but not too much weaker. I accept that 2400+ is above my league because I do not enjoy some really strong player using me as a punch bag. I usually get a good game.
58000 games played, blitzes out the opening, then both have no idea what to do. Man i love this channel.
It's a way of life 😁
Get a grip on reality man????
Garbage.
58000 games and doesn't know he is playing the "Fried liver attack" :)
@@kristianminkov9631 nope, Fried liver attack only refers to Nxf7 if Black goes Nxd5 on move 5.
Agad is right here, Ng5 is called the Knight attack

Love these live rapids with commentary, especially when the opponent plays the sandwich gambit.
Great game!
I regularly watch these games in my lunch breaks, done this over 3 years now. Keep up the good work man.
Yes. I too enjoy making and eating a sandwich while Antonio’s opponent also makes a sandwich.
And it was in this position, upon playing Qd4, that black replied with the Sandwich Defense, and there was no more ham to be had.
The mixing up of playing your own with reviewing master games is why you are a true chess masterclass.
i wish one day to be high rated enough to make a sandwich against agadmator

😂same as me, especially that king takes knight was very important
The 🐐 returns to teach us
I really enjoyed that. Unexpected complexity.
"Our opponent is none other than..." ))
“Good luck finding that!” LOL
I love your rapid action than your review of gms games .. agad 👋👍
We can se review anywhere
Knights are tricky bastards!
This game was not about knights??? Get a life man!!!!!
They are. That's because they are the closest approximation in a grid based game to a circle.
It's always so bizarre seeing how engines think. The depth of calculation is incredible.
That's a welcome surprise, was looking for something to watch
Grow up, please????
@@letstalkcrypto532doesn’t sound like he was negative or was it ?
@@letstalkcrypto532 Uhh...? I was just happy he uploaded this right as my dinner was ready. I'm sorry if that offended you in any way..

*The rest of us:* Ba3 to stop Black from castling? Genius move!
*Magnus and Hikaru:* Ba3??? How sad for White. Say hello to my leetle friend.

Qd4 was a pretty dubious move on black's part. Bc5 is the main line i think
After b4, (19:44) black has to take with Bxe5 because after ...Nb7 the black queen will be trapped after Bc4.
7:42 Wouldn't that trap the queen like it did in your last game?
Yep he would accidentally trap the Queen)
I thought so too
His opponents Queen had protection from Agads Bishop with his knight that was being threatened on a5 as long as the knight was there it protected his opponents Queen from a Bishop attack on c4 his opponent captured the knight on e5 with his Bishop Agad captured Bishop with his pawn and Opponent captured pawn with his Queen
What a match, amazing stuff.

Many times I forget to give a 👍for the videos I enjoy.
I was screaming at the screen half of this game!
#suggestion Joel Benjamin vs Vishy Anand(1989)
I realize we play the same openings and I am happy about it.
Will you try King's Gambit?
Good stuff
what a game!!
Hey Agad, why don't you show us all rapid games you play? You should definitely do that
You should start streaming more often ❤
Hey! another videoooo!
Man I'm early! Just in time for dinner.
6am here but also just in time for dinner!
Hi y'all!
Fried liver attack agad
Fried liver?
In a row, row, row, how far can you go.
Got a good night sleep and a nice cup of coffee?

Yes, but they could have a -500 to +500 rating range setting. I only have a +500

@agadmator Okay, I didn't hear that specific limitation during your video. Now, I understand what you meant. Thank you for the explanation.
wellcome back to the good stuff
