I generally try and do that. We heard them first thing in the morning coming from around the field so we decided to set up there. My buddy that was with me did go out and tour the woods for a while and i hung out in the field hoping he'd scare some out my way but he didn't see or hear anything . I do appreciate the advice though. I am still pretty new to hunting so any advice I always take into consideration. Cheers.

There's what's known as zippers. Call that causes a gobble.. revealing at a distance, where a turkey is.
