There was a problem with new MCAS System that was implemented to auto-correct the pitch. Pilots were never trained on it so whilst the system was constantly adjusting the pitch, the pilots kept trying to counter the movements making the variations in pitch 10x worse. This would cause aircraft to stall or nosedive.
