Crown of champions is such a fun and interactive item mechanic to have in a game mode! It really expresses one's skill and ability to play a fight and really allows the enemy to enjoy their own boards novelty! I love Mortdog!
Back when, in the set Shimmerscale actually debuted, it was kinda hard to get full Shimmerscale and the crown and I think it was supposed to be game winning, if I remember correctly. But for a fun mode like this, it's so bad actually. I understand their sentiment using only the most broken things from previous sets (maybe to see which was the strongest?) but it makes playing it feel so bad. I honestly have so much fun in lobbies where no one picks Shimmerscale/Yordle. You can deal with all the other traits but those two are bad
Yeah you needed 9 shimmerscalefor the crown, which was very hard to achieve as you needed 3 emblems, augments, etc. And the items were completely random, so sometimes you were just screwed, e.g. if you get gamblers as second item with a full mage set. And you struggled with strength because other players had "battle" traits. Now that you can play whatever you want and get crown just like that, the trait is rather broken, and you dont have to sacrifice anything for it to work.
@@kayayldrm2650 Yeah thanks for confirming. I really loved the dragon set so I was pretty sure about it. I was also very sure that I never managed to actually hit 9 Shimmerscale. It's basically like todays 10 Mythic/Storyweaver etc. Made to win you the game if you actually make it there. Which is absolutely fine just not as a freebie passively gained and fitting into every team imaginable lol

Kobuko gains health for every 10g after you gain the good for that round, it's actually not based on interest gained even though that's what it says... Eg. 3:45 you have 19g he would actually get 24hp not 12 even if you don't sell your Sivir

Execution. In league of legends damage and cooldowns are broken. If you want to execute a unit, there is no code for that. Just deal ridiculous amount of damage that equals execution.

Always complaining about the opponents traits. Every trait has a counter. Trickshot works fine against Crown of Champions. Even against Yordle to let them die early. You can't just build tanks.
