Thanks so much for taking us on your ride through this part of beautiful Colorado! Reminds me of some of the off the beaten paths that my brother and I have taken in the past. I can hear John Denver singing "Sunshine on my shoulders" as I was watching your video. 🤩🌞🏞💕

I loved the trail and the view. I think it s a trail that it can be done hiking without a car. Thanks for sharing another side of the Como railways.

Great video of one of the most special places in Colorado. There used to be up to 50,000 residents in South Park in the late 1800's.

Easy to imagine transported to cowboy days. Lazily riding my horse.Thank you for this brief respite from reality!👍👍That is, till we start gasping for air in that first pass "oxygen, oxygen"! 👍👍Always looking for a good object lesson--that tree, wow, in order to survive the trees unite to grow together! Awesome! Thank you Tammy!!!

That was a really nice tour. I went on the Narrow Gauge RR from Durango to Silverton Co. about 22 years ago. I loved it. Very similar to yours except it took like 4 hrs to get there. And the train rocks back n forth the whole way up and back. Really cool.

Hello, its been a while since I've left a message, I've been watching, but just haven't written anything down... This area is gorgeous it has its own way of drawing people into its self & consuming all of Ur thoughts as U gaze out over the treetops & into the mountains on the other side.
I'm excited about how Ur cabin is coming along, ...well it has been slow in coming, but @ least it is still moving & not @ a Total standstill.... If U don't mind I'll send along a recipe for some Morning Glory Bread, I'm sure U'll love it.... Take care my friend

Holy cow that tree! Have you read the Hidden Life of Trees? It was written by a German forester. A friend recommended while I was looking for a good read (something I could download while backpacking the CT a few years ago). I’ll never forget after reading the night before and crawling out of my tent. I never looked at trees the same way. Ever. Great video! Am saving this one - looking for some back road adventures since I bought my new car 😍

This was "AWESOME" Loved the divide panning shots,, I have spent a bit of time around Como and many times over the pass ,would be fun to have an audio narrated guide ,didn't know that was available but for me was many years ago...
...Looks like Rocky showed Kaila how to ride in a car,, were her ears flapping ?? ....lol..
..Thank You for this,,kinda made me homesick for my mountains .. This years issues certainly created unwanted changes in plans...
    ...Looked like A blast ...
.....Stay Safe and God Bless. .....

You are really making me realize how much I miss visiting CO! Glad you are not affected by the fire up north. 😪
I'm currently reading a book by Tracy Beach about the mining days in CO. More specifically, about a Madam. It is crazy!
Thanks for sharing the beautiful scenery!

Hi Tammy ,I absolutely love this video . I'm drawn to the mountains they are the most beautiful things on earth . I live in Rhode Island so I don't have any mountains here . The closest mountains to me are the white mountains in New Hampshire . I try to get there as often as I can . A lot of people love to vacation in Rhode Island because of the ocean views but I've lived here my whole life so the ocean doesn't do anything for me I'm so used to it. To me the mountains are so beautiful and peaceful and quiet . I've always wanted to visit the Colorado rockies because I'm sure they are much bigger than the mountains in New Hampshire as beautiful as they are .

Boreas could be a Greek word for (the god)North Wind, possibly because of the snowdrifts coming from the North.
P.S.Great music near the end.It sounds like the band Gone West.
