Congratulations on being the only one of many videos on Gmunden I have watched which expressly mentions the trams, though in some they do appear in the background. Gmunden is probably the smallest town in the world with its own separate tramway. The tram route has recently been extended through the town and has taken over the narrow gauge railway to Vorchdorf. The regular service (every 15 minutes) is now worked by modern low floor fully accessible cars like you see in big cities. I believe three of the old cars have been retained for special occasions.
Thanks for the comment. I'm in favour of a modern and fully accessible tram system, but I also really liked the old tram cars in Gmunden so I'm happy if some have been retained for special occasions.

My home 🥰 I was born in gmunden and still live here.
I lived there for 9 months in 1982. Went back when I got married in 2003. It's a beautiful town worth visiting
