Complementing the lyrics, the music video features a vampire suspended between his predatory instincts and self-awareness. His inner "demons" and "angels" wage a war for dominance, neither side emerging victorious or satisfied. The vampire's struggle mirrors our own, as we too should find equilibrium between the darkness that lurks within us and the light that guides our path
Stray Kids members, with Chan leading the charge, excel at incorporating psychological themes into their music. The degree of subtlety and sensitivity with which they've approached the exploration of the psyche/mind has been a source of wonder and admiration for me since their debut. Be it a tale of defiance against some societal norms (District 9, Hellevator, Double Knot, Miroh, etc), the push and pull of negative and positive emotions (LALALALA MV), a man's ravenous desire for another man given physical form in the chains and ropes that connect them (Red Lights MV), or fangs and homoerotic bloodlust (Railway MV), there's an allure to the aesthetic. My wish is for Stray Kids to persist in this creativity

This is an amazing piece of music and soulful MV. Duality, dealing with inner demons, "this train never sleeps". We all go through this in life. What a creative way to express this. "Hop" is a refreshing new and creative album, a masterpiece of sound.

Chan is truly a genius. You can see how his expression changed when the 'bad' meets the 'good', after being cocky and all. That seems like a minor expression changes, but it's THERE and it's OBVIOUS. I really can't comprehend how good he is at expressing it.
