    Igor almost seems to show a lack of respect for John because the living legend doesn't buy into the idea that weights and measurements are everything.
    Thing is, John doesn't have anything to prove. He took on weightlifters throughout his career and bested them; including Denis (3 times); he beat Chaffee at the A1, beat Todd every time they pulled, and won the WAL right handed the last time he was in it. Sure, some guys are just so damn big and strong now - while also being trained armwrestlers - that he couldn't compete with them. But their kidneys and livers and pancreases will fail and he'll still be able to spar in his 60's.

    • @LastPrecent
      @LastPrecent 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      @Stevey TeeVee Not true about gym not having equipment to simulate armwrestling.There are quite a few ways to train like on the table,atleast very close ,that could be counted as SOMEWHAT table practice and that you can get with resistance bands,cable machine.Properly setup,with all the angles and can try recreates partially some angles in armwrestling . @Stevey TeeVee ''Not true about gym not having equipment to simulate armwrestling.'' Wanted to say don't cherry pick what suits your narative,but then i read again what you wrote and noticed you were only talking about ''with manipulating your hand and someone else's hand/wrist.'' not about overall armwrestling simulations. Well about manipulating your hand and someone else's hand/wrist included i dunno myself.

    • @saltedllama2759
      @saltedllama2759 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Every athlete says the same thing about their sport. Wrestlers say you can do all the gym time you want, but it doesn't prepare you for throwing a human body around like throwing a human body around does. Boxers train in the gym, but need that ring time punching and taking punches; football players need time on the field; basketball players and tennis players need court time, and so on.
      No amount of weights can replace that, and, believe it or not, won't make the difference.

Except he has never exercised or even seen the inside of a gym in his life, is a type 2 diabetic to boot. And his strength is so fucken overwhelming so much that when he grips my hand or in a wrestle i literally go numb, and i'm someone who isn't small and who works out heavy. And i cannot even come close to countering him strength for strength. Far too overbearing. He picks up his me and his six footer brothers like theye 6 months old. I never seen anything like it. But these type of people are a rare breed we can't pit ourselves against them, it's way too unfair on us, that natural inborne strength can't be cultivated. We mere mortals need the gym and exercise to develop.

At the same time he doesn’t want bad memories of getting wrecked because of his age/body and lack of competing. I think he has 1 more in him regardless, and he’s agreeing to it, so we’ll see.

    Engraçado como o John fica falando na entrevista e o Mazurenko fica olhando pro "nada". Acredito que a forma mais respeitosa de se conversar com alguém, especialmente numa entrevista, é olhar nos olhos do entrevistado. // Funny how John keeps talking in the interview and Mazurenko keeps looking at "nothing". I believe that the most respectful way to talk to someone, especially in an interview, is to look the interviewee in the eye.

    John is old-school and wants to train naturally thats why he said that he needs strong arm wrestlers around him to keep in shape.
    Igor should at least look at him while the interview is taking place. Even african tibes who couldn't understand you look at you while having a chat.
    That was clearly disrespectful. I know his facial reactions arent always expressive but at least make an eye contact while the legend is talking.
