McGraw is one of the best line and length bowler you can watch troubling the best batsmen with his immaculate bowling skills. In bouncy tracks like Australia, south Africa, he's more than handful. Definitely, one of the all time greats.👍👍👍👍👍👍.

Lara was McGrath's bunny. Lara had a lot of weakness against good quality seam and swing bowlers. He also struggled against genuine quicks. Against spin bowling, he was a genius.
Lara scored test hundreds and had an excellent average v Australia. The good thing about quality batters is their average quickly recovers with some very large knocks.

A true legendary bowler ever born in the planet not just legend for me the God of bowling Glenn mc Garth he was having everything pace bounce swing unbelievable bowler on the planet .
While others would get you out with pace, incredible swing or just intimidation, McGrath was like a surgeon. He would eviscerate you with such precision that you would feel that he has taken out your intestines without you noticing and then you would forever fear facing him again. Just an amazing bowler, right up there with the very best that have ever played the game.

What a kalyug period of cricket we are witnessing. Every batsman is crossing 40 avg. If it continued, an avg of 50 would become common in one decade. In 90s, even crossing 35 plus avg was considered very good, only top level batsman were able to reach around or over 40 then.
Sure this was a top bowling performance, but have a look how green and bouncy that Gabba pitch was. They were pretty ideal conditions for a bowler like McGrath who could play the odds putting it in the right spot every time and presenting the seam upright so it did all the work. After all judging by the scoreline it looks as though other bowlers in that Aussie attack had a happy time too.
Yes it is terrific bowling, but it also reminds me just how good the Aussie slip cordon was. I think it peaked late 1990's when they had Healy, Taylor, MWaugh, Warne. Extraordinary lineup behind the stumps. Never been a more reliable setup. They could also call on Ponting Martyn Langer and especially Hayden who was superb at slip to spinners. Personally i'd have MWaugh at midwicket and Ponting at cover. Crazy good team with the ball in hand.

The only bowlers I followed in my life is Dale Steyn and Glenn McGrath. They both really showed my generation, that how to bowl fast and accurate.
I also followed Ryan Harris. Look him up excellent record but injuries.
