Crazy how real peekers advantage is in this game. 0:56 Summit sees him for a solid second before shooting but on the other dudes stream he's dead instantly.
Most Small streamers would be ecstatic to get even 5 people from other chats to be nice and just hang out for a bit. sad that the majority of streamers killed were suspect of the death because of the probability theyve ran into cheaters before.

if you have a good reaction time and can peek efficiently then the desync in this game makes it look like you're hacking because you get almost a full second of peeker's advantage before whoever is on the receiving end can see you
Yeah and also, back when there was no ping limit people used to abuse it more. Though, people can still get that tiny advantage but as you say if you are fast with it, that split second peek advantage is all you need, right?
People thinking that other human beings are going to act like skyrim guards and forget you are there after hearing you is hilarious. "Don't move, don't open your inventory... if he knows I'm here he's cheating." lol.
I think their thought process was that that guy didn't move once the entire fight so if Sum insta pathed to him it woulda been sus given the guy didn't make noise to use as info.
there are no cheaters, getting shot in the head 25 times means they are good at the game and im just trash.. i love it when its on reserve right off of spawn 5 raids in a row.. i see why people start cheating.
I love videos like this because it highlights just how useful a killcam could be in this game because all of them were convinced it was a cheater that got them but just by looking at the VOD you can tell it was a combination of audio, peakers advantage and just all around summit being a good player.
Thankfully I think they realized it after they reported. But just a few things to remember - Summit heard multiple people, he’s not gonna just get a kill or two and then open somebody and start looting out in the open. He’s going to check for others for awhile He literally has done this exact clearing and pathing in multiple videos, he does it constantly on his stream. He checks everywhere he could die from if he opens a body and then the person runs at him or creeps up. He makes sure he checks everything near him so he either has time to loot or he’ll hear somebody coming up That janitor closet thing is a very popular spot and that’s why it got cleared. If he knew you were there, he wouldn’t have danced the angles with some shoulder peaks and he would’ve been preaiming where you were We all report people for shit that seems sus in the moment sometimes but honestly you really gotta evaluate what happened. Maybe you did something dumb that you didn’t realize was dumb at the time. Maybe it was desync. Maybe it was just you getting unlucky, or the other person just playing really well and you not so much. I will say though, between all the issues the game has including audio and desync, it really does feel like people be cheatin a whole lot sometimes.
A lot of people are very quick to presume judgment based on bias, and they believe that the guy who killed them is cheating because yada this and yada that. Summit peeked the closet the same way I would have, only that I would've died fast because my narrow tunnel vision is especially bad in corridors and my reaction sucks mega ass. People should really just stop assuming because their firm belief tells them that it's true. I mean, the pov between Summit and the other guy on, I think the 2nd kill, made it look far more suspicious than it was. Summit sprayed and didn't kill the guy until he had already covered the dude's face in bullets. Meanwhile the dude's pov went down as Summit started shooting. The desync was horrible and I feel for the guy lol. *EDIT: After watching the dude react to Summit's kills, I can say that I'm glad he didn't get all upset because it wasn't cheating. His reaction looked pretty normal honestly.

to be fair at 1:00 its understandable if you assume soemthing, but its just shit tarkov desync and latency, getting killed instantly before they even round the corner on your screen, yet on summits screen he rounded the corner and had time to take a nap and come back and shoot him before the other guy could have saw him.
The corner on 2nd floor west wing is the worst position to be in for the guy in 4:50 . The audio there is so bad that you dont hear anything unless you actually see your enemy.
tbh that 2nd guy that died the one that reported sum, dude has his graphics on fkin ULTRA with this screen as DARK AS POSSIBLE can't even see and as for the 3rd guy, that's such an obvious spot to sit and hide during a gunfight woulda been better off just joining his bois in the fight instead of all of them 1v1v1v1 they shoulda used the number advantage for that 3v1.

Honestly its not the players fault that he thought he was cheating, getting headshot by someone who isn't physically on your screen yet should not be possible, but Tarkov is so broken on a fundamental level it happens. How are you even supposed to tell a cheater from a good player who knows how peakers advantage works? They need to completely redo the netcode in the game, but they never will now, the tech debt they have from half assing so much at the start will be the death of this game.

Cause the first guy, who looked faded asf, realized why he died after the fact once seeing the footage, but felt he got bested by a cheater at first, doesnt help that the number of cheaters plaguing the game have created assumptions that you are just dying to cheaters immediately

They gotta turn their brightness up, they can't see like he can. Filter on top also helps. And there are a lot of sound bugs, if there are too many sounds some will be ignored, and you cave hear some sounds.

Amazing to see the difference lighting and settings have on the game. All those people playing it super dark can’t see anything and summits pov is clearish, and the last guy complaint about recoil but his game is lagging it’s face off and sums is smooth asl
why is summits lighting WAY better than all the other pov's. thats the secret, hes not even using a flashlight but everything is so lit up for summit. thats a huge advantage where as most of these guys cant even see you first peak.
