In order to really survive, GWS needs to go full tilt into meme culture and build its identity that way. It's an internet era club in an AFL wasteland (western sydney) just embrace the "orange team" meme, turn your mascot into that annoying orange character or something, shitpost as much as possible, come up with the worst banners, fuck it. that is how you get the kids on board now, and how to build a grassroots fanbase

You know what, at my school camp my teacher thought it would be a good idea to blast this through huge big black speakers that sorounded the camp site. So we all woke up to ear deafing trumpets, scared the crap out of me and I barely stayed in my bed due to jumping from fright.
