Another way to get Soul Medals is using Guild and or Friend medals to buy shards of a unit in there that is at least LB5 or own 600 shards. You can trade the Friend/Guild medals for Soul stars in that manner. Trade the Soul Stars for mindspheres.

Great vid. I'm one shard away from lvl 99 Barrett with the other 3 units already max ex 120. Probably gonna chill and gather the rest of the 200 mindspheres to ex 120 Barrett thru chocobo expedition. Spent a total of 80k with how lucky I was on pulls.
Nice! That's great luck, and yeah I would chill on the shards for now. In the next 30 days, you can collect ~240 from guild barracks, and probably another 120-150 from expedition and you'll be set!

For the red mats, there are double drops on Saturdays so try to find some time to go into multi-quests and farm with others! You can gather up quite a bit of what you need that way. Also, awakening prisms and fragments you can trade for in the "Item Exchange Shop" from elements you aren't building yet, as well as buying some from the FF7 and Ephemeral Event stores :)
@@deliriumbee4678 Usually, they didnt kick people if your character is enough to clear the stage. If you use weak character to join Brutal stage, that's valid reason. Select stage that's not seem selfish and you're good to go. Multi also count 'turn' if you're too weak, all 4 players lose the game. At least that's my experience from joining multi randomly a lot. Another reason is internet connection. If you're too slow. Many of player will kick you out. Because people in multi usual serious to fast farm. If it's too slow, it's better they do solo.
As for the Guild Barracks, I have slotted 5 characters, including Joker, ad switched the "JP" to "Shards". My problem is with the food replenishes, I barely have/get any to replenish the timer! 5 days into the game btw.
Just spent 8k on Aerith shards cuz there are no daily purchases rewards for her, AND I pulled her on my first step. So I didn’t really have any coins to exchange for shards and figured it would be better to buy the shards straight up, then to keep rolling for dupes. Also there isn’t 3x drop for chocobo expo for part 2.

What do you mean? Are you talking about the Soul Medals or Job memories? The soul medals are gotten from getting extra UR shards over level 99. Job memories are in the FF7R shop in the Mog Shop. Hope this helps!

I didnt catch how you get 8 shards per day; is it because you have the entire 4 set of units at the same time? Say I only have Tifa, Cloud and Aerith, Id only be getting 3 shards per day of each or 6?
Once the Collab units hit 99 they all share the same mindspheres. So having all the Collab units at 99 in the barracks nets you basically 8 mindspheres a day for all 4 Collab units in there.

Hi, I'm new, when I switch over to the mindsphere shop under soul medals, nothing shows up. It just says no viewable information. Do i have to unlock it or is there nothing there at the moment? Sorry.
If Lara Croft has a collab shop similar to the FF7 shop where its 5 sets of 40 shards then I will buy all of the, in a heartbeat cuz I’m skipping FF7 entirely for her.
Good idea! She will likely have just her for the mindspheres as well, so there's no crossover/slow build strategy for multiple units. I hope her kit is unique!
@@NerdNight I’m still sticking to the idea that her jobs are Tomb Raider (main and confirmed), Pugilist (secondary), and Ninja (third) cuz that would make for an interesting move set and it also reflects her character well.
Oh, it's definitely NOT forever! You can get at least 4 shards/mindspheres per day in the guild barracks (Tifa being free). I did this with Auron/Tidus on my alt account. If you have extra guild/friend medals, you can turn them in for any of the units you already have maxed if you need an influx of Soul Medals. Thanks for watching!

In the super long term, you are probably right! But you might be waiting for 1.5 years for those extra shards 😅 I am collecting past 120 for a couple of units just in case this drops unexpectedly, though they may not even use mindspheres too...
They CAN suck, but they are free shards. You can usually get 3-4 shards per day (though you can't choose for which units). It's much more beneficial if you have all of the units, obviously. Thanks for watching!

As a newish player, this helps a lot, but my actual real problem is getting awakening souls or the red mats to level the jobs past 15
For the red mats, there are double drops on Saturdays so try to find some time to go into multi-quests and farm with others! You can gather up quite a bit of what you need that way.
