What a beautiful solution!! Ive been putting off making this blanket because of the center of the motif looking messy when I worked it as the pattern says. I’ve never seen the provisional chain row before! Love it!! Thank you :)
This is great! I just bought this pattern and completed my first test peppermint. I will do another using your method. I'm new to crochet and I'm confused by the joining instructions. I would be interested in a video of that. It looks like you join them as you stitch but his video implies you create individual one and then join. Any instruction would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
I have figured out how to make the round motifs according to written pattern. I am confused about the joining instructions. Any help out there for that? Thanks.......S Jarvie......any tips that would be helpful?? If I can accomplish that I think it will be a beautiful afghan. Thanks for any tips.
I love your take on this. Can someone assist with how many stitches are in each wedge please? I do not like the original Yarnspiration version but my daughter wants the blanket.
Thanks for the video. I want to make the peppermint afghan for a friend but was afraid to start. Now that I understand the technique, I think I can get started.
YW ... I'm not (yet) a crocheter, so I don't have the pattern, but you were very thorough in your previous videos, so I'm dang sure that you passed on all the relevant info in this one. Think positive!!!! :)
Paid for the pattern and so frustrated with the center. Trying these instructions but don’t know what grafting is. Ty for helping us. It’s hard to pay for something that doesn’t work.
I have figured out how to make the round motifs according to written pattern. I am confused about the joining instructions. Any help out there for that? Thanks.
I'm sorry. I didn't mean joining the ends. I was referring to joining the round motifs to each other in assembling the afghan. Any video or tips on how to do that? Thanks.
Is there a video on how to join these motifs together. I’m having a lil bit of a problem with them. I hope you are still on here making videos. Thank you for this one.
You are very clear, thanks for your video. I have tried 3 but my centers don't come out as clear and the grafting is SO time consuming! My ADD has had me finish a couple of other projects, LOL. I wonder if there is a faster way to join the circles, please?!
Hey Lissa, thank you for the tutorial. I will be referring to this soon. Did you have a tutorial on the 'Lace joining' for this afghan? I saw some posts on Ravelry that mentioned the joining was a little 'tissy'. :)
So many people complaining because they don't grasp the concept of copyright infringement (or don't care) and expect to get the whole pattern for free instead of forking out a few dollars.
Lissa, Thank you for your beautiful tutorial for this pattern from Ravelry. I have been crocheting for years and have made a few afghans. About how long did it take to make this one, if you don't mind me asking? Someone asked me to make it for them.
I don't think this video is clear - what is a Wedge Stitch, it looks like a single but it does appear to be more narrow on the end, but how was that done?
I know your video is about the grafting and such, but I just have one question about the pattern and I bet you know the answer. When it says, like in row 3, "skip 1st sc" does that mean, duh skip 1st sc like you always do, or does it mean skip 1st as usual, then skip the next sc too?
This is a video on how I make these peppermints. Im not sure not having one in front of me, and since I modified the pattern, but I would assume since all the rows say skip first sc, that its not any thing special.
Wow people are awful. I paid for the pattern but I'm having a tough time w my points. I'm still struggling despite following the video a bunch of times, but I'm mature enough to admit that's a ME problem, instead of blaming the person who took the time out of their day to help. I'm going to keep watching and trying as I have a commission to make this, but I wanted to thank the creator, especially after reading all the Karen's comments here.
She can't record the whole process - the pattern is one she purchased and therefore is not hers to give away for free. It only covers the CHANGES she made to the original pattern. You can purchase the original pattern for a few dollars and follow that.
Ok I have to use a translator for your language, and it says to "Re-record the most explained video" If that isnt what you meant to say, please clarify.
She needs a better instructions video she doesn't make any sense at all she needs to learn about the copyright on making a video and step by step instructions
Thank you for watching! Im sorry you didnt like the video. This isn't video on how to make the starlights, This is a video on how I personally make my points on them because it was requested of me. I dont understand your thoughts on "my needing to learn about copywrite". This is why I didnt do a "step by step" This video accomplished everything I set out to show.
@@marytomeo5337 and Elizabeth Vigil Why are you being so rude? Why is it so hard to understand that she is producing an item from a PAID pattern and she, therefore, is being a DECENT human being and not taking away from the copyright owner by showing the whole pattern technique? Or are you so entitled you think you deserve the pattern for free even though the OP paid for it? Good lord, why is that so difficult to grasp?
It was horrible trying to tell exactly what you were doing in this tutorial.... When someone wants to learn how to make something, it needs to be much more spelled out step by step every detail. A lot of what you were doing wasn't even on camera, and you didn't say how many stitches in your rows ... 😕

I loved this video and how nicely the stitches come together. I also would like to know how to joined the ends. Thanks for your help.

If I remember right, It is 2 layers of the reverse single crochet using the two colors one on each round.

That is great. I was having such a hard time getting the points I was about ready to give up. Thank you so much - I'm glad I found this video.
Do u have directions on how to square each circle?
I am not clear about how you grafted the whites together. Do you single crochet through both red loops? Thank you so much.
I’m wondering the same thing

WHAT?? Im sad that its not available! Imma go lookin.
You can buy it on Ravelry but that is sad about it being gone off the website!
I just bought the pattern through leisure arts
How did you sew them together. Or did you join with a sc or slip st
I would have liked you to show us how you grafted these ends together. Excellent otherwise.

Still waiting for the video on how join to the scrap yarn edge.

I was commissioned to make another one. I will mark my start and end date on this one too to see if its shorter now that the kinks are worked out.
