The team literally killed it this episode. I don't think I ever saw Captain Reiko get so many casualties. She and Harley were the MVPs this episode. Glad they made it off the planet. Hopefully they can make it back to their friend and get out of the pickle they are in.

Alright since this was the season finale I'll just leave my comment here. First of all, like everybody else is saying, this is an excellent series. Good story telling, great scenarios/battle reports. Highly invested. TH-cam recommend some of your more recent videos and that's how I found you. Immediately checked where this series started an bing watched it from yesterday. Very enjoyable. I am a roleplayer and a board gamer. I play solo adventures and campaigns from time to time and I was itching to try some solo wargaming. Five parsecs from home was one of the games I found and so I learned about your channel. Seeing this it was good introduction to the possibilities of wargaming in a more rpg manner. I am hooked and eager to start, though I'll probably go with a fantasy campaign before moving to scifi due to currently owning Rangers of Shadow Dark and as such I want to give it a try firsthand before buying any other game. Very nice happening upon you. I already subscribed from the very first episode. Keep up the good work.
Thank you for watching and for the very kind words! It's this sort of thing that makes me want to keep going. I have been playing RPGs for 30+ year, and had to ditch my miniatures long ago. This game (and others I came across since) have given me the opportunity to have fun and create in a way I never expected. I haven't tried Rangers yet (it's on my list!), but I can say that the Five Core games are packed with tools to help make it closer to an RPG. And if I manage to get this new version I'm working on focused on a Bounty Hunter, maybe we can give it even more of that feeling There is more to come! Much more! So..... What did that _thing_ do exactly? Eh, im sure it was important (My first guess would be a shield generator, the second would be a weather control device or something, Third would be a power station). DANG so many First attack rolls and Crits this episode, fortune truly does favor our Heros. "How do you tolorate this Yahidar?" Cus he is the best distraction we have! Also unlike you, he has a sense of humor. "Captain, my shell gun broke" Oh no, we ran out of Blue turtle Shells! Oh well, back to ye olde BONK stick it is. LOL the DOUBLE KNOCKOUT Crit melee at the end, how fitting. Well, they got A ship now. All be it a small one (probably a Fighter), still thats a massive improvement to their survival odds.
Yep, weather control. The global lightning storm it triggered allowed them and the resistance to escape the planet without the mothership predicting their launch. But do they get out of the star system alive? We'll see 👀
I should have changed the "continue..." in the end 😅 It's the last of the season as they escape the planet, and I'm moving to a new apartment, so it may take a couple of months before I can do a new one. But I may do one-shots of other games that continue this story soon. We'll see how it goes!
