Excellent video, thank you. I am sort of torn between the Warbl2 and something like an EWI USB or similar. I only intend to use it as a MIDI controller and wondering if the limitation of not having a embouchure sensor and the limited octave range wound be an issue. That and, if I am correct, it does not send separate velocity messages for note attack. I am not interested in Celtic sounds, but mostly synth and brass using EVI fingering. I am attracted by it's small size and I see you have many wind instruments, any advice on the Warbl limits and playability?
@rogerredford4010 glad you liked the video. The warbl2 can send velocity info. That's how I have it set in the video. My Windy1 Synth doesn't use it at the moment, using the breath cc instead. But a lot of synths do use velocity. The fingering I came up with for the warbl2 works OK, but the buttons for the octaves aren't great--good enough for some fun while traveling, but not for your main horn. The EWI usb is a better way to go if those are your only choices, since you are not a tin whistle player or bagpipes player. Nuevi if you can afford it.
