    Best interview ever for 3 reasons
    1. Ye is totally candid and aware of how he is received.
    2. Nore steered the interview beautifully and had learnt when to STFU
    3. EFN helped Ye articulate his thoughts seamlessly, the few times it was necessary.

    • @watermaster4913
      @watermaster4913 3 ปีที่แล้ว +78

      The 3rd reason is what ye really needs just having someone to help articulate his thoughts would do so much to change the public perception of him.

      Facts. And thousands of comments here and yours is the first one ive seen that even touched on this most important matter if you ask me.
      Not one soul even bringing up the red hat and Kanye not backing down about that.
      Real ones know what Kanye was on about during the whole election. Evwrybody think Ye is a visionary for his clothes and his fashion and his beats etc, but really he's in 3008 with his whole frame of mind and political stance.
      This whole last election was a fight for freedom. And very few black people outside of Ye myself and small minority of others even had the eyes to see that. Glad he didn't shy away from that.
      Only history will show he was on the right side. Literally and figuratively.

      What's most amazing is the amount of comments I'm seeing of people who already understand how big of a moment it was instantly, and people who have said they didn't like Ye but now they understand him better. I think this interview shows the full scope of how amazing he is and its not because 100% of everything he says is right but you can tell his intentions are good and he has what most people don't, the strength to say something that they know alot of people will not understand and hate him for. First time I ever heard Ye was All Falls Down and I knew I'd never heard an artist quite like him who would so bluntly admit he's self conscious and insecure in a world extremely concerned with image.

      Nah, don’t try to downplay black people. I can only speak on behalf of black Americans. We have A LOT to be proud of. We have literally fought for our freedom. Despite our cultural and tribal roots being taken from us, we as black Americans have been able to recreate culture that stem from our ancestral roots! Our hair is so beautiful and I love that we have so many innovative and colorful hairstyles. I’m proud of that. We have created so many music genres. I’m proud of that. Blues, hip hop, jazz, and so on. We have so many of our own dances. Our own culture dishes such as soul food. Black American culture is so beautiful because we had to genuinely build it from the ground up. Also, they’re called locs. Not dreads.

    • @tanajhaputman4160
      @tanajhaputman4160 3 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      Self hate is not it. I believe just like with any other group we have a lot to work on. But can we give ourselves credit?? Since the beginning we have been put against each other in more ways than 1! We got a lot to be proud of. Like he said “but under what context”. Culturally, how far we came, and with barriers we continue to break .. we have a lot to be proud of! However in terms of mental health awareness, homophobia, colorism, and other issues, thats something the black community still needs to patch.

    Simply WOW! I stopped loving hip hop due to the degradation of our "culture vibes" from the vultures luring the youth into sinful death traps. I heard about this interview with Ye, and glad I came watch it. Thanks, Drink Champs, for airing this because this has the best portrayal of Ye's brilliance and how he is truly trying to revolutionize people's way of thinking to see the manipulation and control tactics of the rulers. If we are from Kings and Queens, we should move and think as such.... thanks Ye for being bold enough to not FEAR the beast system. Ownership is freedom.... but having a connection with the REAL God gives you identity wisdom which allows Ye to be bold. Proverbs 9:10, “The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom: and the knowledge of the Holy One is understanding.” Ye got out the barrel and is putting the fishing net back in to allow others to climb out to.... will YOU? 🤔 Seeing the death traps is the beginning of the path towards learning to fear the Lord.... which will lead to YHWH's, not "Ye", king-type of understanding.
