Very impressed that you were able to cut down an entire tree down with a pole saw. Surprised the motor didn't burn up or at least overheat. Looks like your chain was dull by the time you finished bucking the tree so to cut the trunk with a dull chain was even more impressive.
Finally, I have to mention that kids have no business being anywhere near a tree being felled. I know you had a strap, but if for some reason that tree started falling the other direction, not only couldn't you stop it or change the course, the kids were trapped in the trampoline.

As a landlord I normally use gas chain saws when thinning/cutting trees. I was quite skeptical about an electric pole saw. I have the ego blower and really like it. I bought the pole saw and it is a quiet delight with enough power. No regrets. Keep On Continuing! billkeitel

Nice video. But 11 inch diameter tree is not big. A big tree would have 32 inches diameter or more. Unfortunately I don't think you can cut it with pole saw as there are no pole saw with blade greater than 10". You would need a chain saw with 20" or better blade length. But you can still use pole saw for the final cut which topples the tree from "safer" distance. Another thing I was wondering was why did anyone need to climb up the tree to rope it? You can just use arborist throw line and then pull the rope up there.

It was fun for me to climb it.

I cut 20 inch thick branches with my ego. You just need to be creative

I just bought one of these. What is the point of the "steering wheel" handle? Like this guy, I find myself holding it at the trigger and the black rubber grip area.

The handle is used when you use the engine and the string trimmer attachment.

Why waste all that time and energy trimming all the branches if u were going to cut the tree down anyway? Was it just for demonstration purposes?

      Yes, for demonstration

Tree trimmers normally cut off most of the brush before facing it

Pour l'instant je ne possède pas encore une chainsaw, et j'ai voulu faire un test 100% avec la Pole Saw de 10 pouces par expérimentation. C'est moi qui a grimpé dans l'arbre ;-)

A lot of forestry accidents are caused by falling trees. The main reason is that when a felled tree hits the ground it's actually travelling "really" fast. A lot faster than the human brain can calculate but then it's "too late". That guy pulling on the line is taking his life into his own hands. What if he tripped? Felling big tees is dangerous work. Don't do it if you're not experienced. Pay for a professional & enjoy your life! Oh, & don't use toys to cut down big trees. See above as to why.
