  • The New York Giants have fired Joe Judge, and Colin Cowherd has a message in response to the news. It's time for the Giants to let go of the past, and to stop talking about yesterday. No more reminiscing on the days of Eli Manning. It's time to focus on rebuilding and elevating Daniel Jones. Plus, Colin shares his thoughts on Super Wild Card Weekend.

    Yet, when you go back through the last ten Superbowls, the majority of the winners have been defensive oriented teams (Patriots (3), Broncos, Seahawks, Ravens and Giants). That is 7 of 10 and the Buccaneers could be argued as a defensive team in holding the Chiefs to 9 points. The new "innovative" hires have won little in terms of championships.

    Giants need to internalize the reality that offense is more important than defense, passing is more important than running, and a truly elite QB is a necessary precursor to regular success. Get rid of anyone who thinks otherwise.

    Dave Gettleman had one of the worse runs as a GM ever. While walking around as if he’s always the smartest man in room. As a Giants fan I liked Joe Judge. But that style of coaching gets reaaalll old real quick when you’re losing games by double digits…We have more talent than the Lions but somehow we’re behind them as an organization smh.

    The trend throughout the league now are young offensive minded head coaches. Shanahan, McVay, Kingsbury and Lafleur. The continued hiring of defensive coordinators being head coaches is puzzling. Patricia was a disaster in Detroit. Saleh isn’t going to be good and will be fired in a few years. Maybe even next season if the Jets don’t better 4-13. Innovation is the key to those younger coaches. The Giants should target Kellen Moore as their next head coach. He’s young and a former NFL QB.

    It’s really simple. The only true way to win a game is to score more points. Idc how good the defense is, if you can’t score you can’t win. That’s why offensive minded coaches are having more success.

      @random-nz7dy 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I mean do we really know that Dan Campbell is going to work? I mean yeah they were competitive in a lot of games this year and I definitely think thus far it looks like he's been a good fit.

      The real question is when is the national media going to admit that Kliff Kingsbury was a good hire?
      That guy's taking the worst team in the league and has them in the playoffs within 3 years and there's a good chance they can beat the Rams.
      I swear that guy could leave the Cardinals on a super bowl run this year and people will say
      "Yeah but his history of Texas A&m wasn't good so if they don't want to second straight super bowl he will be exposed".
